"Ok so I guess I'll start with the party." Wes says.
*Flashback*
Just as Mariana and a highly drunk Jackson start to leave the party Wes runs past them at lightning speed. Quinn, his designated baby sitter runs after him with wide eyes "WES." she shouts while trying to keep up. Confused, everyone watches the encounter.
All of a sudden a drunken Wes side jumps into the pool. "YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME." He shouts as he does. He creates a humongous SPLASH as his body hits the water. Everyone nearby is not happy at all as they get drenched from head to toe in water. Quinn, who looks most drenched of all, is stood with wide eyes hating Wes more than she ever has before and deeply regretting the choice to look after him.
"HE NEEDED A COLD SHOWER." Jackson yells from where he's stood with Mariana. They both leave and Wes, with great difficulty, swims over to the edge of the pool where Quinn is stood angrily with her arms crossed.
"Come on, lighten up." He says.
"Lighten up? Are you kidding me? My outfit is ruined, my makeup is ruined, my night is ruined."
"Stop being dramatic. It's just a bit of water, when your outfit dries up it will be as good as new."
"Pool water isn't just ordinary water. Ordinary water has a pH of 7, pool water is supposed to have a pH of 7.4 to 7.6."
"So?"
"It contains chlorine and can leave white stains."
"It's already done now so you might as well have fun." He says before sweeping her legs from underneath her, resulting in her falling in the pool.
"WES." She shouts when her head resurfaces from the water.
"Oh shit." He mumbles, running on the floor of the pool to the steps where he can make an escape. Swimming would probably be quicker but he's too drunk to even think of that.
He quickly climbs a few steps, almost slipping on his ass in the process. Quinn, gliding through the water, is hot on his tail but what he doesn't know as he's running away in fear is that she isn't trying to get back at him, she just wants to go home.
He runs out of the back garden and in among some bushes down the side of the house. Wes ends up reaching a dead end. Looking back is something you shouldn't do when running in an unknown place because he doesn't realise it's a dead end until it's too late and he's crashing to the floor from the impact. He shakes it off, getting back to his feet and looking around for an escape.
