Chapter 44 - The Provisional Hero License part 1

A normal day...

"NANA!", screams Void pulling the leash and receiving a cat scream as response, "Release that tree!"

Or at least was considering that Nana is hugging a tree, or the cat equivalent of it, while screaming bloody murder and Void pulling the leash for her to release the tree.

"Naana stop it! People are looking at us thanks to you!", says Void pulling the leash harder.

While at it, Ahmya, Hayao and the new addition, Hinamori, watches with deadpan looks.

"I don't think it's only because of Nana...", says Hinamori sweatdropping.

"Give her a break, it's her first pet.", says Hayao also sweatdropping.

"Tell me again, how did she get involved in us?", thinks Ahmya.

"That's easy to tell...", says Charibasa.

✂-----------------Flashback---------------------------

"Uhm... Hello...", after hearing it the trio looks behind them and sees a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes, Ahmya somehow thought that this girl looked familiar.

"Hello.", Hayao greets awkwardly, "Did you need something?"

"Well... I...", the girl gets nervous.

"For the love of... Just ask already!", says a new male voice and a small being appears from her hair above her left shoulder, consequently four more appears from her hair with exasperated looks.

"And there goes letting her doing things by herself... Thanks Red Velvet.", says one of them shaking their head.

"Why you all are like that...", says the girl facepalming and the five apologizes.

"It's a déjà vu...", says Ahmya hearing a lot of "Hey!" as response.

"You mean the 21 voices in your head?", asks Hayao and Ahmya nods.

"I wish I had a fixed number...", mumbles the girl but they heard her.

"Anyway, what you want to know.", says Void putting Nana down and petting her, "He said that you wanted to ask something."

"Well...", she takes a breath, "Areyoutheonewhowaskidnapedthatdayandmadethecityapooloflava?"

Awkward silence...

"And I thought that Madeleine was the one who lacked tact.", says one of the being in her hair.

"Espresso!", says the girl along the other four.

After this awkward situation, the girl introduced herself as "Ami Hinamori", she is in the third year of the business department and doesn't have a good relationship with her family thanks to her older sister, who is a very know sidekick that is loved by everyone in the city.

Her quirk kind of resembles Ahmya's with her summoning beings that are "cookies" accordingly to her, though Ahmya is sure that they look more round than flat shaped, for this she uses some sort of cards that have the image of each summon but they can summon themselves if they want to.

Ahmya is awoken from her daydreaming by Void saying that she managed to finally make Nana to release the tree while ignoring the looks of the people around them.

"Now we can go to delivery your mother's lunch.", says Void.

Oh yeah, today is the day of the Provisional License exam, a day where hero students would try their luck and hope that they could achieve the provisional license that allows them to act like a hero and use their quirks without negative repercussions...

It's also the reason that Ahmya's mother was overworking herself since the beginning of the month, she is relieved that is finally over but sad that's mean that she will have to move to the dorms.

Her mother forgot her lunch and asked for Ahmya to bring it to her, since she wasn't doing much, she decided to drag her friends along, the idea was to use the shadow portals that Myamsar can make but then Void's cat decided that she wanted to "hug" a tree and they got stuck waiting for Void to control her pet.

"Well, let's go, Myamsar knows where the exams are being held so trust him on this.", says Ahmya while taking a small bag with food and walks through a shadow portal that appeared behind her being followed by the others.

The exams will not be the same...
