Chapter No 2

Aunt Isabella died last year in an unfortunate event, where Sophia had not only lost her mother but also her soft corner for love.

"How was your business trip uncle? How were aunt Genevieve and aunt Catalina?" Anna asked while serving Tiramisu.

"Wow, you have cooked Italian," Said Mr. Carlos. "Yeah, same as mom used to cook, " said Mariana.

The whole dinner table was sunk into unbearable tension and silence. But Mariana's expressions did not make any difference, Sophia gazed away.

"Daddy, let's try this cake. I made it especially for you,''said Anna, changing the subject.

Suddenly the lights went out.

"Opps" said Ann.

"Hold on," said Lilliana while trying to snap her finger but Carlos stop her.

"No underage magic," he said.

"Dad," she cried.

"That means, I will do it," said Mariana.

"This is so unfair, why should we wait for the ritual," said Lilliana.

"Because it is family rule and I don't want accidents," he said while looking at Marria who looked at him sheepishly. When she was underage she turned.

Carlos' hair became purple due to her magical mistake since then he banned the underage magic between sisters.

Marriana snapped her fingers and the candle burned in the house.

"Daddy let me.." Said Lilliana while raising her hand.

"Nope honey not yet not until ritual no magic." said Mr. Carlos while stopping her.

"Daddy it's not fair, everyone does it but why not us? '' asked Lilliana.

"Because I don't want any mishap in my house remember last time when Mariana was underage she made whole mess she turned my hairs into some idiot color and many other mishaps she created, for that all of you are forbidden to do magic until ritual and it almost would take 2 more weeks so no complaints" Mr. Carlos said while Shutting out Sophia who was about to speak.

"Ha Ha and that makes me do magic as I have already attended a ritual since I turned 17" said Mariana while raising her hand in the air and all of the candles in the house burned.

The house lights up like Christmas eve.

"Yeah thank Goodness you have turned 17 and then you have started Springfield you have finally learned how to do magic properly" Said Lilliana.

"Yeah that's why we were wondering earlier how she would make the house this much cleaner." said Sophia while looking at Anna.

"After the ritual you guys either have to attend the school together" Said Mr. Carlos, While taking a bite of Pizza.

"Daddy everyone goes to Springfield, every member of our family throughout history has attended Springfield. Grandma says it's fun to be at Springfield '' Said Lilliana.

"Yes it is fun at Springfield, you heard right in our times we used to be pranksters, Anna your papa had attended after two years I did and once he made a flower into toad and mistakenly he threw it on professor's table , If he got caught he would definitely doom but your mother had reverse the spell hence saving him, after that they made a strong friendship".

"Yeah it is really fun over there. Hey daddy, I made a lot of friends over there. A few of my friends are vampires and some are werewolves and some are wizards and witches like us " said Mariana.

"Whoa vampires I heard are hot?" Said Lilliana. Sophia gives her a sigh..

"You always talk about boys, " Said Sophia.

"Nobody can say you girls are twins as you two are too much different" Said Mr. Carlos.

"Daddy you know we have been the same since..." Everyone went silent. It was the topic which brought sadness and pregnant silence in the house.

The Perez family had a long family magical tree. There were great wizards and witches in the family for centuries. Few of them were famous for being dark and few were white.

Every extraordinary thing comes with curses, this family had many losses. Despite losses Perez's family had been powerful with a lot of family members.

Every witch and Wizard when they turned 16 had a ritual in which they chose their elemental power. For witches and wizards it is essential to take admission in supernatural schools they have to go through from ritual, after which their elemental powers could be recognized.

It was 8 am, Lilliana, Sophie and Anna were standing in front of School entrance.

" I am fed up with this regular school. I am thinking ahead to go to Springfield" Said Lilliana.

"Oh ain't you gonna miss your dates over there?" asked Anna, Lilliana's eyes rolled.

"Why would I miss these junks if I got hottie vampires over there?" Said Lilliana while Sophie rolled her eyes.

"I am going it's my class ahead. I will see you at home because after that I am going to work" said Sophia.

Sophia was working part time at Pizza hut.

"Hufff I got stupid History class ahead I am either fed up," said Anna.

"Best of Luck buddy" said Lilliana.

"Good Morning Everyone Hope you guys have done your homework, today I am gonna announce in the class that Your final Project has been issued by the Dean this week, so it's time to make partners for the project. I will give you the list of your partners this weekend so best of luck. Said Professor Julia.

"Wondering which jerk from this class is going to be my partner," whispered Anna.

"Mr. Stever, what on the planet do you think is the time to enter the class?" Said Professor Julia while crossing her arms.

"Professor, should I come in," he asked in a deep arrogant voice.

Anna suddenly turned her eyes to look. It was Phoenix Stever, the hottest guy in the school. Phoenix was tall, tall enough to corner and over shadowed every girl. He was a lean muscular guy with light blue "dark" eyes and dark black hairs. Phoenix had a position at school as a bad boy. He was Football Captain and famous among the Students. Even Professor, who had quite good height, was looking smaller in front of Phoenix.

"Oh I hate I have a secret wish to be his partner despite him being so annoying" thought Anna while giving him a sigh.

Anna had a secret crush on Phoenix but her crush was overcome by her annoyance towards Phoenix due to phoenix's high Eco and attitude.

"Last night I was busy with football practice. I overslept this morning,''said Phoenix while yawning.

Professor Julia gave him a very disappointed look. "Oh I can't use my remaining energy over you. you can sit Mr Stever"

Phoenix shrugged and gave the whole class an uninterested look, deciding where to sit. He used to sit alone but today every desk was occupied. Anna had occupied the back seat on which Phoenix used to sit everyday. He gazed at her and after taking a deep breath he went to sit with Anna.

"Oh my God oh my God oh my God what on the planet is happening this rude, infamous boy sat with me, is it a real magical day for a witch?" Thought Anna.

She looked at him from the corner of her eyes, but he was looking ahead towards Professor Julia. Taking advantage of the moment and thinking he is not paying attention she decided to look more deeply. He had perfect posture that could beat every girl's heart or skip it. Even while sitting he looked so tall.
