Chapter No 10

The car was moving, Anna was looking outside the window, she furiously watched the clock it was showing 8:35 am.

"Where are we going?" Asked Anna without looking at Phoenix.

"Towards your damn project". Said Phoenix.

"But how do you know?" Asked Anna but Phoenix cut him off into the middle.

"No more questions if you want me to do this project thing with you cat". Said Phoenix.

"I am not a cat and stop calling me that, I have a name". Said Anna angrily.

Well I don't know your name though and the thing You have done today...trust me I will take revenge one day." said Phoenix while leaning towards her, she started shying without any reason.

Phoenix stopped his car suddenly. She raised her eyes and turned to the window where she saw Olivia's door.

"But how do you know?" She wanted to ask how he knew about Olivia's address, but he cut her off in the middle.

"Get outside," Said Phoenix.

"Who I am to him a slave". thought Anna.

"Now it will come out I don't have the whole day," Anna awkwardly came out of the car.

"Now knock on the door. I don't want the girl to get startled," said Phoenix.

Anna knocked the door, Olivia opened the door within a few seconds.

"Oh hey Anna thank Goodness you are here on time". Said Olivia.

"Hy Olivia, he is my partner Phoenix" Anna introduced Phoenix who was standing behind her.

Olivia gazed at Phoenix deeply, for which Anna rolled her eyes because she was thinking it was about his good look.

"Hi Phoenix, it's nice to meet you," said Olivia.

Phoenix nodded and shook his hand with her.

"You remind me of someone". said Olivia softly.

"Hope that person would be good". said Anna silently but not so slowly, Phoenix heard her.

He started looking in another direction. Olivia picked up Richard from the high chair and now she was cheering for him who did not like to come out of the chair.

"Richi look, it's your favorite aunt Anna here," said Olivia while gesturing over Anna.

Anna came closer to take Richard from Olivia's arm but he was completely ignoring her. Phoenix, who was standing next to Olivia with folded arms and looked totally unknown to the situation, Just then Richard started grabbing Phoenix's shoulder with his little fists.

"Oh little one wants to go towards uncle phoenix ?" Olivia gave Richard to Phoenix who was a total beginner in the experience of babies.

Anna tried hard not to laugh, her eyes were watery while stopping her laugh.

"This idiot only knows how to make babies, not how to take care of them" thought Anna.

"Okay I am leaving it's my day shift for today and evening for your sister Sophia, so could you guys take care of Richard and it will help you in your project I hope" said Olivia while picking up her bag.

"Oh no Problem, we will take good care of it ain't we phoenix" Anna said looking innocently in Phoenix eyes, who was returning looks by "death stare".

"Yeah sure we will take....ammm good care of your bab.." Phoenix said awkwardly because Richard had his poop in his diapers.

Phoenix made nasty expressions.

"Oh Richi, the 3rd time this morning you have created this mess, okay guys If you don't mind could you change his diapers I am running late " said Olivia.

"But," said both Anna and Phoenix.

"Good bye see you in evening". said Olivia and she had closed the door behind them.

Just then another sound of flatulence was given by Richard, but Phoenix started looking in another direction.

"This is gross". Said Phoenix who was holding Richard in his hands while raising his arms.

Anna, who was trying her best not to laugh, finally let it go. She laughed whole heartily, Phoenix gave her a stare.

"Give him to me, you can't do it alone, oh Gosh this is the funniest day of my life".

Anna holds Richard in her arms carefully. She took him on the Sofa near to them in Tv launch.

"Phoenix," He turned, it was the first time she took his name, He turned and gave her a gaze like he was asking "what?".

"Could you sit with him for a while so that I can take diapers from his room?"

Phoenix nodded and sat with Richard who was giggling.

After 5 minutes Anna came with a pair of diapers.

She changed the diapers while Phoenix was looking at her deeply.

"Okay fine that was easy". She said while taking a deep breath.

"I never thought I was going to take care of the baby, " Said Phoenix, looking anxious.

"Looks like I am so interested," said Anna while Richard started to giggle.

"Ah he is so cute," said Anna while Phoenix took a deep breath and walked towards the window muttering something that sounded like "girls".

Richard was crying and Phoenix was looking outside the windows with an angry expression and folded arms. Anna was trying to cheer Richard up, but he was crying continuously, "Will you please shut him up?" said Phoenix who was now more than annoyed.

"I never asked him to cry, will you please make yourself useful and rock him up so that he could sleep". Said Anna while taking Richard in her arms.

"Take him for a while, I am going to prepare his feeder". Said Anna while giving Richard to Phoenix.

"Great I feel like some granny now". said Phoenix while Anna rolled her eyes.

Anna returned with the feeder and she took Richard from Phoenix's arm, who felt relieved but whenever Richards went to Phoenix he stopped crying.

"I think he likes you," said Anna while putting the feeder in Richard's mouth.

"Yeah yeah of course I am Santa Claus or something for children like me". said Phoenix while Anna rolled her eyes.

Richard fell asleep.

"I think he was hungry, that's why he was crying". Anna said.

"It's almost 1 O clock and I am feeling hungry either" said Anna and Phoenix started looking at the wall.

"I think Olivia has something in the kitchen" though Anna and she went to the kitchen.
