"What are you doing here?" she asked while looking inside his eyes, he was so tall that she stood on her toes.

"Olivia called, she said she has to attend something urgent so she will need us," he said while looking in her emerald eyes deeply. Anna felt a strange connection

"Why does he care? Phoenix Stever is caring?" she thought.

"Let's go," he said, breaking eye contact with her and probably a connection. Phoenix walked forward and opened the car's door and got in.

"He came to take me with him?" thought Anna, her heart beats faster on the feeling.

"But how did he knew that I am here with my cousins?" She thought.

Anna turned to look back, trio Sophia, Lilliana, and Mariana were looking with mischievous expressions. Lilliana waved at Anna, while Sophia blow a kiss and Mariana was looking at her with expressions as if she was saying

"Told you".

"Are those creatures related to me ?" thought Anna was disappointed. She got inside the car.

Olivia's place

Richard was playing with his favorite teddy bear. Phoenix was more quiet and reserved than usual but wait don;t he always? And that was disturbing Anna.

Mysteriously, Richard seems more happy with him instead of Anna, which made her furious. Just as Richard fell asleep, Richard was placing his little head over Phoenix's shoulder and his left hand on his other shoulder. It was the cutest thing Anna had seen during her entire life.

"He likes you," she said to Phoenix. He remained silent.

The door knocked, and Anna went to look for it. It was Olivia.

"Are you back earlier?" Asked Anna.

"Yeah I got freed soon," she replied while smiling, but Anna felt it. It was not normal.

Olivia's eyes were swollen like she had been crying for hours. Anna did not feel good to ask if she was not even acquainted, Phoenix did notice it too.

"Thank you so much for your day guys, I got a guest for the evening, huff it was a tough day again," She said while avoiding eye contact.

Phoenix looked concerned. He whispered to Anna "Did she tell you anything?"

"No, " she said while whispering.

"She looks like a mess Anna, should we ask her" she asked.

"I don't think it's a good Idea," he whispered.

"Okay Olivia Richard is asleep just now, so I think we should either leave" said Anna while Phoenix had opened his mouth to say something. Anna grabbed his arm and took him out.

"What you were doing, have you forgotten what I told you about grabbing me? " He said while freeing himself from her, but instead Anna shushed him up.

"Phoenix something terrible is happening with her didn't you notice there were bruises in her arm and neck?" Anna explained.

"What" said Phoenix, his fist suddenly tightened? Anna had gone startled.

"Does he like her?" she thought, she suddenly felt sad but managed to controlled her emotions

"We have to spy on her, I have a feeling that she is in danger," said Anna.

"She said she is having a guest today. It would be horrible if this is her mother," said Anna while walking forward towards the car.

"Why?? what about her mother," he asked.

"I will tell you everything, let's sit in the car. It's cold and it's evening already," said Anna.

They both sat in the car. Phoenix had turned on the heater.

"I really don't know enough but this morning I asked Sophia about Olivia's life, she told me she never took the name of the father and that she does not have a good relationship with her mother as well," Phoenix took a deep breath.

"Is he getting soft or he likes her," Anna thought, she was feeling slightly jealous.

"I have an idea we will wait here in my car, far from her home, she won't notice us but we can spy on her, I don't know I have feeling too that she is in danger". He said. Anna nods.

Parez House

"I think she is enjoying her time with Phoenix, isn't she?" said Lilliana.

"This is strange she can't develop a relationship when we are leaving for Hawkins" said Mariana.

"I am afraid this is forbidden, you know, she can't tell him who we are, you know, a witch can't expose her identity to a human, since Salem trial. It was an oath taken by our ancestors. If she does, her powers would be bound to limitations. It's a curse," said Lilliana.

Sophia, who was watching her favorite show suddenly her blue eyes turned white. Lilliana, who was polishing her nails, got alert. Both girls were afraid of the previous encounter of her losing control "dilemma".

"Am Soph?? you okay?" Asked Lilliana.

"Soph?" She asked again.

"Silence she is having a vision I think" Said Marianna,

For five minutes Sophia remained in that condition. After those five minutes her eyes started turning back to normal. She took a deep breath.

"What did you see?" asked Lilliana.

"I have a premonition, I saw a Red Phoenix, I saw destruction and then I saw someone with dark wings and then the world turned up and down I saw two white wings and then a hooded figure," she said while taking deep breaths.

"What does that mean?" asked Lilliana.

"I don't know I did not have a premonition like this before,'' said Mariana. Sophia looked worried.

Phoenix was looking at the window where Olivia's Kitchen could be seen properly.

"Can I ask something?" Said Anna.

"You don't need to ask me cat, you can ask," he said in trance but then he looked at her intently. She was staring at him.

"Cat? he gave me a nickname" She thought

"Why did you save me that day?" She asked while looking into his deep blue eyes.

"Should I not ?" he instead asked.

"Great, he is back," she thought, annoyed.

She rolled her eyes.

"That's not an answer," she said angrily.

"Listen, don't make me regret it" He said in his usual rude tone.

"Yeah, of course the old manic Phoenix is back". She thought furiously. He rolled his eyes.

"Grrr" Phoenix turned around to look, it was growling. Anna ate nothing since the ice cream parlor. She felt embarrassed. He looked at her, while she was avoiding his eye contact. He opened the car dashboard drawer and took out a packet of kit Kat.

"Here," he gave it to her. She silently took the chocolate and started eating.
