Chapter One Finding You

(Narrator) 10 years after the fall of Salem and the restoration of peace throughout the land Remnant, many of our favorite protagonists have gone on to pursue different careers than being huntsmen and huntresses after all the death and suffering that occurred during the war against Salem, while some such as Ruby Rose and Blake Belladonna continued with their careers as huntresses, but the story's main focus will be on the former mute enforcer Trivia Vanille aka Neo, but Team RWBY as well as the other teams will be making appearances throughout the story.

Neo. I had just gotten off of work at the Vale Medical Institute where I work as a nurse in the maternity ward which is located in downtown Vale at the streets of Ember and Crystal, you are probably wondering why a former enforcer of Roman Torchwick and Salem is working as a nurse in the maternity ward well about ten years ago after the fall of Salem I turned myself into the Vale Police Department and I originally was to serve life sentence for the many horrible crimes that I had committed during the war but I was given a lighter sentence of three years due to me working as a mole inside of Salem's inner circle where I fed the resistance information on Salem's plans and schemes.

While I was serving my time in prison I got help from a psychologist who helped me through my many emotions which ranged from guilt to anger and also while I was in prison I learned to be able to speak more freely to people whom I could trust but when I am not around people I trust I still use my signs or my scroll to communicate with those people, after my three years were up I was released and I had serve two years of probation and once my two years on probation were up I was able to be out in public without being constantly observed 24/7. At first I had a hard time finding a job due to my terrible past and past criminal record, which after a year of court meetings lots of paperwork and a very good lawyer I was able to get my criminal record expunged from the criminal database with a little bit from Weiss Schnee & the Schnee Dust company who paid for my attorney since at the time I didn't have a lot of money to be able to afford to pay them, After I got my record wiped clean I started to apply for different jobs and after waiting for six month after my record was expunged I was able to get a job at the Vale Medical Institute as nurse and with backing and support of my close friends Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Emerald Sustrai and many other all of my former enemies became like my second family and I consider them all my sisters and brothers I gladly accepted the offer to work for them as a registered nurse also I got my MD after I had finished get my medical degree after completing four years of medical school online and normally It would take five years to get my degree but I managed to get it in only three year and five years later I'm still happily employed at Vale Medical Institute. As I was walking to my black Mercedes I heard the sound of whimpering coming from a copse of trees about 100 yards behind me and so I turned my body around so I facing the copse of tress and then I started to walk towards the whimpering sound, Once I had reached the tree-line I looked down and I saw what was causing the commotion it was a little girl who looked to be no older than five years old and so I knelt down and I said what's wrong dear and she told me that her mommy and daddy had been killed in a car crash two years ago and she had been living with an abusive aunt and uncle who had took her in so that way they could inherit the wealth from her parents but once the money had dried up they threw her out onto the streets about two weeks and she had to fend for herself to survive. Once she had finished telling me everything I felt heartbroken just at the thought of this poor innocent girl struggling to survive on the mean streets of Vale, I then said softly what's your name child and she said my name is Kelly but my family used to call me K she then asked me what my name is and I said that my name was Neapolitan but my friends called me Neo, I then said why don't I take you home with me for tonight and tomorrow we could go the adoption center and I could officially adopt you as my own and Kelly only responded by nodding her head which indicated to me that she was okay with coming home with me. I then gently pulled Kelly into my arms and I then stood up and I walked away from the copse of trees and I headed to my black Mercedes which was now running since I activated the autostart feature and upon reaching my car I carefully put Kelly into the backseat and I buckled her in before I walked around the car to the drivers side and once there I opened the driver side door and I got in and I put my key into the ignition before I buckled myself in and then I pulled out of my employee parking spot and I drove home.
