Chapter Twenty Five First Date & An Awakward Encounter Pt 2

                                                                                                                                      December 30th
(Qrow Branwen) So you're probably why I'm in the Winking Huntress being a buzzkill to my great niece's date with her girlfriend, Well I was passing through Bayview on my way to visit Ruby Weiss Summer and the others for new years when it started to snow heavily and so I decided that it was a good idea to take shelter in the the nearest establishment which sadly was the Winking Huntress and even though I haven't touched a bottle or flask of whiskey in ten years I decided that I should find a table to sit at and eat a hot meal and warm myself back up before I headed back out into the snowstorm that was raging on outside and after a waitress had placed me at a table that was across from the famed legacy table which was the table in the center of the pub. Once I had order myself some water and I had placed my order of a hot pressed turkey and ham sandwich I heard a pair of voices that I didn't even fathom on hearing in any pub at least while they were underaged I turned my head in the direction of the legacy table and I saw Summer and Kelly ordering their drinks and once they had placed their drink orders I couldn't help but smile at the sight though when their drink had arrived at their table I saw that Kelly had ordered a coke while to my horror Summer drinking a Merlot which caused me to stand up from my table and I quietly flew over to their table and I then even more quietly transformed back into my human form behind Summer and I locked eyes with Kelly and I mouthed to her saying I'm going to need to borrow her date for a few minutes and she just nodded her head at me indicating that she understood, Then I cleared my throat which caused Summer to turn her head around to face me and when her pale blue eyes locked with my scarlet eyes her face drained of color and she then said Hi Grunkle Qrow and I said with a stern expression on my face don't try to change the subject missy because you're in serious trouble and Summer tried to play dumb by saying I haven't done anything Grunkle Qrow which caused me to snatch her Merlot off the table and I held it in front of her face and I then said with a smirk oh yeah then what's this while using my spare hand and I pointed at the glass of Merlot and Summer whispered Merlot and I said I couldn't hear what you said dear you need to speak up and Summer said a bit loud that's Merlot Grunkle Qrow and I said with a victorious smile that's right dear.

I then said stand up from your seat dear and follow me we are going to have a chat which caused Summer's head to drop in defeat and once Summer had stood up from her seat I grabbed her ear and I then dragged her to an empty hallway that was near the enterance of pub, After I had looked around to make sure that we were alone I then released her ear from my fingers and I said what were you thinking Summer don't you know that stuff is very bad for you which Summer countered by saying if that's the case then why do you drink the strongest liquors Grunkle Qrow and I said rather calmly I haven't touch any liquor in ten years dear niece and besides we aren't here to talk about me we are talking about the very poor choice that you made, I sighed and I then said I don't want to be the bad guy here Summer but I'm going to need to tell your mothers about your awful decision and Summer then started to tear up and she said please don't tell them Grunkle Qrow Momma will ground me for week and I then said I'm sorry dear but I have to just be happy that your Auntie Winter is already at your house and not here because if she was she would've already called your moms by now and I then reached into my pocket and I retrieved my scroll before I dialed Ruby's scroll number.

(Ruby on her Scroll) After I answered my scroll I said Hi Uncle Qrow how are you and Uncle Qrow said I've been doing good kiddo actually I was on my way to your guys manor for New Years when a bad snowstorm had blown through the area so I decided to hunker down at the Winking Huntress for a hot meal and also being able to warm back up before I was going to fly the final hour of journey to the manor, Uncle Qrow then said you won't believe this but your daughter and Kelly are here right now which Is why I was calling you for Summer knows that the law for drinking any wine or alcohol is eighteen well she lied to the waitress about her age and she ordered a glass of Merlot, it took a few seconds for Uncle Qrow's words to sink in before I yelled WHAT OH SHE'S GOING TO GET IT WHEN SHE GETS BACK HOME FROM HER DATE WITH KELLY, Uncle Qrow then said could you please screaming short stack I don't want to go deaf before I turn sixty and I then said with an laugh sorry about that Uncle Qrow and then Uncle Qrow said please don't to hard on Summer she made a horrible mistake and I think that she's starting regret her decision kiddo and I then said well I guess that I won't be to harsh with her punishment this time can you let her know that I won't ground her for the week but I still will ground her for the next four days and Uncle Qrow then said I will let her know kiddo, Uncle Qrow and I talked for a few minutes before we both hung up.

(Qrow Branwen) Once I had hung up on my scroll I then passed along Ruby's message to Summer and I then said why don't you go back and enjoy the rest of your date just know that I will be watching you both okay Sum and Summer said okay Grunkle Qrow and then Summer and I walked back to the dining hall together before we went to our seperate tables and during the rest of the time that the three of us remained at the pub Summer & Kelly didn't do anything silly or stupid especially Summer since I was watching her like a crow the whole time.
