Chapter Forty Three Friends & Family Parts 1

                                                                                              January 22 
(Trivia Vanille) So this morning I'm going to be going to visit Natalie and Veronica Torchwick the younger sister and nephew of Roman Torchwick my deceased boss and friend Roman. Before Roman perished during the fall of Beacon he made me promise to protect Natalie since she was Roman's ward since their parents had died a few years before the fall of Beacon and Natalie was only ten years old when Roman died during the fall of Beacon which is why after the battle I went in search of Natalie who had gotten lost during the chaos of the battle, And upon finding Natalie I took her away from the aftermath of the battle and I took her to my parents house and my parents took Natalie into their care until the war ended.

 And during the few breaks that Cinder had allowed for me to have from the action I would go and visit Natalie at my parents house in downtown Mistral and I took on a older sister role in her life and I kept to the oath that Roman had me take prior to his death, After I had finished getting ready to go out I got into my car and I then drove to Natalie's home which was a two hour drive to her home from my house. After a two hour drive I pulled up into Natalie's driveway and I then parked my car in the driveway before I opened my door and after I had unbuckled my seatbelt and I then got out of my car and I then walked up to the front door and once I reached the front door I knocked. 

After I had waited on the doorstep for a few minutes the door swung open and out stepped out Natalie who engulfed me in a hug and she said welcome sis and I said thank you Nat and a few seconds later a little energized blur crashed into my legs and I then looked down at I said Hi Veronica how are you sweetie and she said excitedly I'm doing good Auntie Trivia and I said that's good sweetie I hope that you have been a good girl for your mommy and Veronica said with a smile I have been very good girl Auntie Trivia and I said good sweetie. 

I then gently scooped Veronica up into my arms and I then followed Natalie into her house and once inside the house Natalie led us into the living room where we sat on the couch and we talked while Veronica laid against my chest and she took her afternoon nap and since she was so comfortable in my arms I couldn't remove her from my arms while she slept because of any sudden motion she would wake up and Natalie and I talked for about two hours before we ate lunch about two in the afternoon and so Natalie Veronica and I ate chili and grilled chesse and it was delious
