Chapter One Hundred & Seven Aunty Instincts

March 30th

(Ruby Schnee) After Weiss and I had gotten home from the park Weiss headed upstairs with James to give him a bath while I started to cook dinner, After we eat dinner James Weiss & I would watch tv for an hour and a half and then I will tuck him into bed, I really enjoy when my nieces and nephews come and visit Weiss & I, It makes us feel younger with all the young ones running around. Weiss & I tried to have another child a few years after Summer was born it didn't go well about four months into the pregnancy I had a miscarriage which killed our baby Weiss and I were crushed and ever since that day we haven't tried to reproduce.

Tonight for dinner I'm going to be making steak red skinned potato and corn I hope that James likes steak for dinner, After about an hour of cooking the steaks on the stovetop the steak were finished and I then placed the three steaks onto three plates and I then put them on the table and then I started to cook the potato's after I had peeled them I then put them in the microwave for five and a half minutes.

After the five minutes were up I then took the potato's out of the microwave and I then placed it onto a hot pad and then I carried it over to the table were I placed it in the center of the table and then I microwaved the corn and once I had finished with the corn I then placed it on the table, I had just placed the corn on the table when James and Weiss entered the kitchen and then they took a seat at the table and I then joined them at the table before we prayed and then we started to eat our dinner.

As I ate I noticed that James was hardly eating his food and so I asked Aren't you hungry sweetie? James looked at me and he shook his head he then got down from his chair and he then ran upstairs to his room, I looked at my wife for answers and she said that James felt that Winter and Uncle Qrow were trying to replace him.

I then said I will be back with James babe and Weiss said alright Ruby I then pushed my chair out and I then went upstairs, And when I had reached James room I then knocked and I said James it's Aunty Ruby may I come in? James said from the other side of the door in a whisper enter. I then turned the doorknob and I then walked inside since it was quite dark in James's room I turned on the light and I then looked towards James's bed and I saw that he was crying.

I then walked over to the bed and I then sat down on the bed and I then said your Aunt Weiss told me that you have been feeling like your mom and dad are trying to replace you, Which is why I'm here to tell you that your mom and dad aren't replacing you with a new baby they are in fact giving you the honor of having a little sibling of you own, Though you have to understand that when your little sibling arrives your mom and dad will be very busy with the new baby they won't forget about you.

James looked at me and he asked What if I'm not a good big brother to my sibling Aunty Ruby? I then said with a smile you may struggle at first with being a big brother to them you will become their rolemodel to look up and I can promise you that once your mom and dad get into a routine with the new baby they will be able to spend with both of you sweetie.

Now come on let's go back downstairs and eat dinner okay? James said okay Aunt Ruby and then James and I walked downstairs where we sat back down at the table and we continued to eat our steaks and after a half hour of eating we all had gotten finished eating, Weiss decided to do the dishes while I took James to his bedroom where he go dressed into his pajamas and then I read him a few bedtime stories before I kissed him good night and I then went back downstairs with my wife and had some quality time before we both went to bed ourselves two our later.
