Chapter One Hundred & Twenty One Wedding Bells and Wedding Rings

April 14th

Sixteen Years Ago 

Nine Months Later

(Ruby Rose) I stood at the altar in my crimson red dress waiting for my soon to be wife to enter the chapel and I was the most nervous that I've been in a long time, I looked to my right and I saw Winter who is the maid of honor, I then saw the other bridesmaids who consisted of Yang, Blake, Coco, Velvet & Naomi. 

The bridesmaids wore a dual colored red and white dress and they all held red roses with the petals dyed white, As I waited began to get nervous that Weiss was having second thoughts when the doors to the chapel were opened and my soon to be wife entered with dad escorting her to the altar.

Weiss was wearing a long white dress and I couldn't help but be amazed at how she looked in the dress and as she approached the altar and she had climbed up the steps that led to the raised platform that the pastor would officiate the wedding, I felt tears of joy run down my face and I couldn't be happier with the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with Weiss.

Even though we had rough first meeting when we first met at Beacon so many years ago we grew not only as partners but also as people and I couldn't be any happier, I just wish that mom was here to witness the union of Weiss & I. 

Once Weiss had reached me she stood two feet from me thus leaving a gap for the pastor to begin the wedding ceremony by Saying we are all here to celebrate the Union of Ruby Rose & Weiss Schnee and if there's anyone who objects the marital union of Ruby Rose & Weiss Schnee to say speak now or forever hold your peace, when no one objected the pastor continued to speak.

I have been informed that you both have written your own vows and I then looked at Yang and I whispered do you have my vows sis? Yang just nodded her head and then she reached into her purse and she retrieved my vows before she passed them to Winter who then handed me the paper.

I then cleared my throat and I said with a steady voice Weiss we have known each other for ten years, I knew that from the moment that I met you that you were a keeper and that Internally I hoped that we would become partners and much to my surprise when we met in the Emerald Forest during the initiation I was beyond ecstatic that my wish had come true.

And when Team RWBY was formally created I was happy that I not only had my sister Yang on our team, but I gained another sister in the form of Blake as well as a snowflake, Anyways enough of me rambling on, After seven years of fighting during the war I knew that I was starting to develop feelings for you and when I asked you to be my girlfriend and you said yes was one of the happiest days of my life.

And I promise to always love & cherish you and I will always be there to protect you when you can't protect yourself my precious snowflake, I then finished my vows by saying just know that I will always love you snowflake.

Weiss then pulled out her vows which she had placed into her heels and then she started her vows, Ruby when I met you I had no clue of the positive impact that you have had on my life and for the rest of my life I will be your rock and shelter for whenever there's trouble.

When we first met I thought that you were a nuisance and a hazard after you nearly blew both of us up when you knocked over my experimental dust and I'm surprised that day we weren't blown off the cliffside. When Team RWBY was initially formed I was very upset that Ozpin picked a mere fifteen year old child over me to lead our team.

I remembered that night that I promised to be the best partner and friend that I could be and I stuck to my word even during my time trapped in the mansion on Atlas, I didn't realize that over time the four of us would become more than partners and friends we became sisters and I couldn't be happier to call Yang & Blake my sisters and my dolt of a partner my wife.

When Team RWBY had been completely reunited after the battle of Haven I felt complete and whole again, Weiss then continued on for the next couple of minutes before she finished by saying Ruby I will always love and cherish you and I will always be here if you need a shoulder to cry on or just someone who you can rant to if needed. 

Once Weiss had finished her vows Zwei climbed the stairs of the platform and when he had reached us I took the two rings off the pillow that was on his back and I then slide snowflake diamond ring with little roses in place of diamonds onto Weiss's finger and then Weiss placed my wedding ring which was a rose shaped diamond with little snowflakes circling the rose.

The pastor then said you both may kiss the bride I lifted Weiss's veil while she lifted mine and then I pulled Weiss over towards me and I then tipped her backwards and then we shared our first passionate kiss as wives.
