Chapter Eighty Three Unexpected Visitor pt 2

March 6th                                                                                                                    9:30 a.m.

(Summer Rose Schnee) Kelly and I had just gotten back from a overnight date in town and we packed our overnight bags, Once we had walked through the front door I noticed a crimson haired woman sleeping on the couch and I walked up to the sleeping figure so I could get a better look at her.

Upon getting a look at her face I saw that it was young woman who looked to be in her early to mid twenties though I knew who it was, the figure on the couch was the Fall Maiden Cinder Fall and I thought to myself what is she doing here, I thought to myself I guess that I'm going to have to ask her when she wakes up.

Kelly and I then walked out of the living toom and we then walked down the hallway to our bedroom where we then put our clothes away into our drawers and then we took a shower together, after we had finished taking a shower we both then got ourselves dressed for the day before Kelly went to the kitchen to make breakfast for all of us while I headed to the nursery to wake up our baby girl for the day.

Once I had walked into the nursery I walked over to Mackenzie's bed and I then gently shook her awake and I said sweetie it's time to get up and the only response I got was Mackenzie groan softly which caused me to chuckle and I then sat down in the chair next to her bed and I waited for Mackenzie to wake up and after a few more minutes of waiting Mackenzie open her cute green eyes and she then sat up in her bed and she then looked at me and she smiled and then she said mornin momma.

I couldn't help myself from smiling and I said good morning princess, how'd you sleep? And she said I slept good momma, I then said that's good princess I then took her into my arms and I then carried her over to the changing table and I then removed her out of her night-time diaper and I then threw it away into the genie, I then cleaned her up before I put her into a fresh pull-up.

I then gently took her off the table and I then took her into my arms and I then walked over to the closet and I asked her what do you want to wear princess? Mackenzie then said a gween dwess momma and I then said as I placed her on the floor alright princess, I then booped her on the nose which caused her to wiggle her nose and I then walked into the closet.

I looked through her dresses until I found the green dress that her granny and grandma bought her and I also grabbed Mackenzie a pair of jeans as well as tennis-shoes and then I headed towards the closet's exit with the clothes in my arms and once I had walked out of the closet and I saw that our princess was waiting patiently for me on her bed.

I then said good job at being patient for momma princess and Mackenzie said your welcome momma and I then asked do you want momma to help you get dressed hon? Mackenzie then said while pointing at herself I can dwess myself momma I'm a big girl and I said with a chuckle alright princess, I then placed a kiss on her forehead and then I walked out of her nursery.

Once I had exited the nursery I saw that Cinder Fall was awake and I then said with a smile good-morning Cinder and she whipped her head towards me and she said good morning and then she walked over to the table and she started to eat the bacon and eggs on her plate and I noticed that while she ate her breakfast she didn't make eye contact with anyone which made me concerned.

I looked at Kelly and she must have noticed what I did, I couldn't help overcome the feeling of dread that was forming in the pit of my stomach and when Cinder dropped her fork onto the floor her shirt rose up which revealed her scarred back and I couldn't help myself so I went to the bathroom and I retrieved the first aid kit and I then walked back to the kitchen and I then knelt down next to Cinder.

I then asked in soft voice Cinder Honey may I take a look at your back? and her eyes met mine and I noticed that there was clear fear in her eyes and she said with a trembling voice please don't hurt me and I also saw behind the tough facade a young girl/woman who needed a mother and I think that I can help fill in the motherly role in her life.

I then had Cinder remove her shirt and I then spent the next twenty minutes cleaning her scarred of the fresh wounds and I then bandaged them up as best as I could, I then looked at Kelly and I mouthed to her get the extra adoption paper and fill it out and I will take it down to the adoption agency tomorrow after class and Kelly just nodded her head.

I then asked Cinder a question, Cinder do you want me and Kelly to adopt you? and Cinder hesitantly nodded her head and I said you don't have to be afraid around us honey, for the next couple of hours I sat on the couch and I asked my soon to be daughter questions about her as well as her past.
