Chapter Eight Grandma Raven Comes to visit & What happened to Summer pt 1

(Narrator) So before Neo was released from prison Raven had decided on Taking Neo under her wing as well as taking the young woman into her family.

(Raven Branwen) Today I'm going to Vale to visit my youngest daughter Neo whom I had taken into my family when she was twenty two years old, Neo called me about two weeks ago and she told me that I was a grandmother and then she told me that she had adopted a little girl named Kelly and I could tell that she was excited to finally have someone who she could take care of me, After all the suffering and pain that Neo had gone throughout her short life that she deserved to finally have happiness and to be able to have a family who loved her and who didn't judge her for her past mistakes because we all make mistakes. I have been really busy with training Vernal's Daughters Valiant & Valor to take over the Branwen tribe when I step down as tribal leader in two years that I haven't had a chance to meet my granddaughter yet but today I'm leaving the camp under the watchful eyes of Valiant and Valor while I headed to Vale to visit my youngest daughter Neo and granddaughter Kelly I used my Kindred Link that I had formed with Neo and I then stepped through the portal and I was then instantly teleported to Neo's mansion and I stepped out of the portal and I dusted off myself before I walked to the front door and I then knocked on the door and I waited for Neo to answer the door, After a few minutes of waiting the door opened and out stepped my oldest daughter Yang who closed the distance between us and she hugged me and I returned the hug and I said Hi sweetie how have you been and Yang said I've been doing good mom. About six years ago Yang and I were able to repair our relationship and after many trials and struggles we were able to mend the damages and I couldn't be happier I even was able to form a relationship with my step daughter Ruby and I try my best to help guide her through her life it's the least I can do since she doesn't have Summer around to help guide her. Even after I had left Tai & Yang when Yang was a few months old I still watched over both of them, I kept in contact with Summer from time to time and when she had told me of her pregnancy I was so excited for my best friend & partner, When Summer had given birth to Ruby I couldn't be there in person for many reasons but I did send a gift to Summer Tai Yang & Baby Ruby. Five Years later after Ruby was born I was planning a daily raid for my tribe when I fell to my knees because I could feel that Summer was in danger from the Kindred Link that I had with Summer and so I quickly teleported myself to Summer's location and I saw that she was fighting the Grimm Queen Salem and I could feel that her Aura was slowly starting to wane so I quickly rushed to her side and before she could collapse to the floor I grabbed her shoulders and she looked up at me and she smiled and she said I knew that you would come Rav and I said with a small smile of course we still are partners Sum come on let's finish this fight and maybe just maybe we can take Salem down together I said as I helped pull Summer to her feet I then pulled out my katana and then Summer and I charged in to fight Salem and after a hard fought battle we had Salem on the ropes and I really thought that we had a chance to beat Salem but the most unfortnate event happen as I slashed to left of Salem's body when she conjured a large fireball that propelled me into a pillar on the opposite side of the throne room thus knocking me out for a large amount of time and when I had woken up I noticed that I was alone in the deserted throne room and I didn't see Summer anywhere, As my eyes scanned the room I saw something that made my heart freeze I saw Summer's one handed blade which could turn into a sniper rifle named Widowmaker as well as her fabled white cloak laying on the floor and so I ran over to examine the blade/cloak and when I reached them I noticed that there was a message written in runes which was probably written by Salem, I couldn't read the runes even though I'm highly versed in reading ancient runes I couldn't read it, I knew that Summer was still alive somewhere since I hadn't felt our mind link snap with her death. Anyways after I searched for a long time for Summer in the now deserted castle I headed back to my tribe with Summer's cloak and tanto and when I had stepped out of the portal I headed to my tent and I stored Summer's belongings in a lock box where I placed them since I knew that Summer would need these Items again at some point. After Yang and I had talked for an hour Yang led me inside the mansion and I followed her inside to see my family.
