My silent mother Volume 1

Chapter Forty Five The Start of Mid Winter Break Pt 1

                                                                                                                                        January 25th
(Kelly Vanille) Today mom William and I are headed up north to the ski resort at three peaks in the far north of Vale. As we drove up north I looked out the window while William drove while mom was playing a game on her scroll, Last week mom messaged me with a picture of a positive pregnancy test and below the pictured test mom typed a message that read to my older sister I can't wait to meet you in nine months sissy. I then called mom and I gave her my congradulations on the amazing news.

I can't believe that in nine months I would have a little brother or sister of my own and I made myself promise that I would always be a constant in their life and if worse the worst was to happen to mom and William while they are very young that I would adopt them and raise them as my own, As I can't believe with how lucky my life has become in the last eight months from being able to ask Summer out to a future sibling.

After another six hours of driving we had finally arrived in three peaks and we then drove through the town to the ski lodge, once we had reached the ski lodge William parked the car and before mom and I got out and Mom walked up to the enterance of the lodge while I helped Will get the suitcases out of the trunk of the car and then we followed mom/girlfriend up to the enterance and once we had reunited on the porch mom then opened the door and we then walked inside the lodge before the three of us walked over to the fireplace and we warmed ourselves up and we waited for the rest of our large and extended family to arrive.

After waiting for about two more hours the door to the lodge opened and in ran James who ran over to me and he hugged my legs tightly and then he said Hello Kelly and I smiled down at him and I then said in a soft and gentle voice hey sweetie how are you? To which James replied I've been good Kelly and I said that's wonderful to hear sweetie I then said why don't you go and greet Aunt Trivia and Uncle William and James replied okay and then he ran over to his aunt and uncle. Aunt Winter was the next to enter the lodge and she then walked over to me and she hugged me before she walked over to mom and Will.

After everyone had gathered by the fireplace we all headed outside towards the slopes to go skiing, we traveled in groups of five and in my group was James, Summer, Aunt Ruby, Noah & Wesley and once we had reached the peak of the slope we then put on our skies and I went down the slope with James following closely behind me and upon reaching the bottom I turned around and I looked at James who was having a blast coming down the slope and I couldn't help but smile at him having a great time with no worries or care in the world. In a way I'm like Jame's surrogate aunt and I love him as well as the rest of my cousins dearly and I would willingly give up my life to protect them if the need to ever arose.

Anyways Once James and everyone else had reached the bottom of the slope I walked over to them and I then asked did you guys have fun skiing and I recieved a chorus of yes's and then we all hit the slope again and we all continue to ski for a few hours before we all headed inside for some hot chocolate and cooked panini's and we all enjoyed time with each other.

All of my aunts and uncles gave mom their congrats on her pregnancy and as I watched mom's eyes reflect with happiness and joy, Summer walked over to me and she whispered into my ear Kell I want a baby and I said so do I but we promised my mom thatb we would wait a few years before we tried for a baby babe which caused Summer to pout and I laughed at her childish antics.
