Chapter One Hundred & Eight James's Playdate pt 1

March 31st

(Coco Adel) Today I'm bringing my youngest son Dillon over to Ruby & Weiss's house for our planned playdate, I drove my car with Callie and Dillon in the backseat while Valerie is sitting in the passenger seat next to me. I promised Velvet many moons prior to her disappearance that in the event that something happens to her I would take Valerie into my care, Little did I know that the day after Valerie had turned five years old Velvet would go on a Grimm Extermination Mission and she would completely vanish off the face of Remnant and the only thing left behind was her weapon stuck in deep mud.

Velvet was like a little sister to me and her absence from our lives hurts a lot and there isn't a day that I don't miss her what I mean is simple I got to enjoy many many years with Velvet while Valerie only got to share five years with her mom, Sometimes I wish that I would've have gone with her on her mission, I raised Valerie like she's one of my own since I promised one of my best friends that I would, Though I keep making her know that even though she isn't biologically mine I still love her. 

I broke myself out of my train of thoughts when I felt a soft hand on shoulder and I heard Valerie asked Aunt Coco are you okay? I then said yes I'm okay dear I promise, Valerie is my kids big sister since she's a year and a half older then Callie and three years older then Dillon. 

She absolutely adores her siblings and she would do anything for them even if that meant giving her life to protect them  After another hour driving we had arrived at the manor and I then pulled up through the gate and then I parked my black Sedan in the driveway and then I turned off the car and then I climbed out of the Sedan. 

Valerie followed behind me with Callie & Dillon following close behind Valerie, Once we had climbed the stairs I then rang the doorbell before I stepped back, After a few moments of waiting the door opened and I was greeted by a red blur that pulled me into a bone crushing hug I then said Ruby I can't breathe which caused Ruby to say sorry Coco I'm just so excited that you and the kids came for the playdate.

Once I had gotten my breathing back under control Ruby then walked over to Valerie and she hugged her, Ruby then followed up by hugging Callie and Dillon and then she said why don't you come inside guys and I then said come on kids let's get inside so I then walked through the front door and then once we all had taken our shoes off Ruby & I walked to the kitchen to talk while Valerie led Callie and Dillon up to James's room.

Once Ruby and I reached the kitchen she then closed the door behind her before she walked to the table and she then sat down and I then said Ruby I found something very disturbing while I was out near Castle Grimm observing it as part of my monthly shift as a Watcher and what I found can't reach the ears of anyone who hasn't fought against that vile witch. I then said was out in the Grimm Lands to observe any sort of movement of Salem or her Grimm and what I saw was horrifying new species of Grimm were being created at a rapid pace before they slinked off into the wilderness.

There were many new and even more ferocious and dangerous then the ones we fought against while we were in training at Beacon and during the war of Salvation against that vile witch, there were species of Grimm-Bears Grimm-Tigers Grimm Grimm-Hellhounds even reincarnated Grimm that we slew during the war. I then continued to list every type of Grimm that I could remember seeing all the while Ruby's face became paler and paler with each description.

Once I had finished explaining everything Ruby said I knew that she would return to cause chaos and destruction though from what my sources have found out is that Salem is still quite weak to make any decisive moves against us not to mention that a lot of her inner circle are either dead serving long prison sentences or have been fully redeemed and they are working for us now. 

I then said are you sure that it's wise that sending Cynthia back to Cinder to act as a mole and informant is wise and Ruby said no it's not but we don't have many options Coco especially right now, We need to be ready to fight as one once more and I said we will be right behind you Ruby and Ruby looked over at me and she smiled and she said Thanks Coco that means a lot.

I said I get the feeling that this is just the prelude to the storm that is to come Ruby and Ruby said I know which is why we all have to remain vigilant not to mention that we have to hide the relics again and this time in very safe and secure locations we also have to have all the Academies remain on High Alert Level 5 and this information doesn't leave this room and the people that we start to inform with this info starts with Lieutenant General Winter.

I then said I know but we should continue to gather more concrete evidence before we approach her and the New Atlas Military and Ruby said agreed, I then said you are allowed to give the information to Weiss as well as the rest of Team RWBY and I will inform what remains of Team CVFY and so on and so forth Ruby and I then shook hands and then we started to talk about happier subjects.
