Chapter One Hundred & Forty Four Gender Reveal Party

A.N. Before we start I would like to give a shoutout to my good friend Amanda J and wish her a happy 33rd birth now with that out of the way let's begin.

May 7th

Sixteen Years Ago

(Ruby Rose Schnee) Everything was all set up for the party which was going to start an hour from now, we had the pink confetti loaded into a cannon that we borrowed from the New Atlas Military, the confetti would shoot out when pulled by myself later during the party when Weiss & I would reveal our baby's gender to all of our guests.

I honestly can't wait for the party to begin since Weiss has becoming increasingly antsy about the whole party, she wants it to be perfect but I have reassured her that everything will go smoothly, Weiss is currently upstairs with Yang Blake & the rest of the girls I got dressed hours ago so that way I could go over the inventory one more time before the party starts.

As I was walking around and checking the tables & chairs as well as all of the food that we had prepared throughout the week leading up to today I heard someone walking up to me and so I looked up and I saw Uncle Qrow coming towards me with a huge grin on his face, once he had reached me he said Hey kiddo are you excited for the party? I said yeah I'm very excited for the party.

I then said you seem to be in a very good mood Uncle Qrow and he replied why wouldn't I be especially after I had proposed to Winter and I had asked her if she would be my wife which she said yes and I said congrats Uncle Qrow who knew that you becoming sober that you were finally able to win Winter's heart and that she would gladly take your hand in marriage.

Uncle Qrow and I talked as we walked around the big backyard checking everything, Uncle Qrow said I can tell that you are very stressed right now kiddo and so I sighed before I said who knew that planning a party would be so nerve-wracking Uncle Qrow but I will be even happier once the party can start, Uncle Qrow then said why don't you take a seat for a few minutes since everything seems to be in order shorty and I said with a sigh I guess your right.

I then sat down at a table and Uncle Qrow & I talked for a little while longer until he said that he had to go inside and get dressed for the party and so he stood up and then he walked back inside the manor leaving me alone which I didn't mind that much and as I was sitting down I heard the sound of a metal cane on pavement and I turned my head around and I saw Oscar and so I stood up from my seat and I dashed over to him and I hugged him.

Once I had broken off the hug I said thanks for coming Oscar and Oscar said you are welcome Ruby besides I wouldn't miss my best friends gender party especially since Ozpin has been continuously suggesting that I come which made my giggle and I then said Oscar I heard that you are going to become the new headmaster of Beacon in two months and Oscar said yep I will be taking over the role from Professor Goodwitch though she will remain on staff.

I'm so excited for you Oscar we can talk more about it later, Oscar then walked over to an empty table that was reserved for team JNRO and he then sat down, I know Pyrrha has the best seat in the house and she will be watching from somewhere above in the clouds, between you and I readers Weiss & I have been discussing who should be our baby girl's godfather and we have decided that Oscar would be the perfect choice.

About twenty minutes later everyone started to file out the back door of the manor and they all started to take their seats and the party began in earnest.
