Chapter One Hundred & Forty Eight Baby Summer Arrives

May 11th

Sixteen Years Ago

(Weiss Schnee)  Today's the morning of March 23rd and I'm currently laying in a hospital bed waiting to fully dialated so I can start pushing to give birth to our daughter Summer, Ruby was escorted out of the delivery room for accidentally destroying a monitor in the room thus leaving myself & Neo who would be in the room with to help keep me calm and relaxed, well as relaxed as a woman in labor can be.

After about an hour the doctor came in and check and she determined that I was fully dialated and she said You may begin pushing Mrs. Schnee and so I started to push and all the while Neo held my hand and she said with a small smile don't worry Weiss I'm not going anywhere whilst you are in labor, I could help but give the smaller woman a kind smile and then I returned my focus to the task at hand which was birthing mine & Ruby's daughter.

I don't know how much time had passed since I started pushing but it had to have been at least several hours and I was starting to get tired but I had to remain strong while our daughter was still inside me, After at least another hour of pushing I gave out a final cry and then a cry echoed throughout the which wasn't mine, After Neo had offered to cut the cord one of the nurse took Summer away to clean/do a few quick tests on her.

After ten minutes the nurse returned with our baby girl wrapped in a hot pink blanket and the nurse said with a smile here's your baby Mrs. Schnee, the nurse the pulled out a birth certificate and she asked what's her name and I said her name's Summer Adriana Rose Schnee and the nurse who was named Tilly wrote out Summer's full name onto the certificate and then she handed it over to Neo who put it into her purse for safe keeping until I could be discharded.

Nurse Tilly then gently placed Summer onto my chest and when I was able to see our baby for the first time I had tears running down my face and I said Hi princess I'm your mama and I am so glad to be able to finally meet you, I then let Summer suckle onto my breasts so she could be able to eat, after Summer had finished eating there was a knock on the door and I called out come in.

The door opened and Ruby walked inside and when she saw Summer laying on my stomach she walked over to the bed and she asked me Can I hold her? I said with a chuckle you don't have to ask me dolt she's your daughter as well, I then gently handed Summer over to her mommy who held her in her arms, after fifteen minutes I said Ruby why don't you go and let everyone know that the baby has been born.

Ruby said okay dear and she then kissed me on the forehead and then she handed Summer over to Neo who looked to be the happiest that I had ever seen her, Ruby then walked out to the living room to let everyone know that Summer was born, The first one to enter the room was Yang who said Weiss you look like crap and I responded back hey I've just spent the last eight hours in labor so don't even start with me Xiao Long.

Yang was about to retort back when Blake walked into the room and she smacked Yang on the back of the head and she said be nice Yang! Blake then looked at me and she said you look very tired Weiss and I said I guess that I'm tired though I can sleep a bit later while Ruby takes care of the baby, Neo walked over to me and she handed back Summer.

I then said Everyone there's someone I would like you all to meet, I would like to introduce to you all Summer Adriana Rose Schnee, Summer spent her first day of life being passed around and being held by all of her Aunts Uncles Grandma & Grandpa.
