Chapter Twenty Seven Flashbacks Pt 1.

(Trivia Vanille) I can't believe that it is now the year of 2023. Even though I had been pardoned so many years ago I still can't help but feel guilty for my actions when I worked with Roman Torchwick and the White Fang during my teenage and early twenties, After I had been pardoned I started a charity to help the family of victims that I had hurt or killed during war and It took a long time for me to start raising money to give to the families but once I had found some people willing to donate to my charity I was able to start giving back to the families of my victims. Anyways Today I'm sitting on the porch of the manor and I watched the snow fall to the ground and I couldn't help but smile at the beautiful snowflakes fall onto the ground. As I watched the snow fall I couldn't help but think back to the final battle against Salem, After Roman's death during the fall of Beacon Academy I felt so lost and helpless with his death that I wanted to leave it all behind me the White Fang, Salem, everything, One dark and rainy afternoon I was wandering in downtown Hestia when I felt a chill run down my spine and when I turned and I saw an apparition of Roman Torchwick who spoke to me and he told that I didn't have to continue down the dark path that I was traveling down and If I wanted to I could choose to I could go and find team RWBY and help them take down the people who caused me so much pain and suffer and I whispered to Roman's ghost and I said I don't think that I'm strong enough to do that Roman and the ghost said Neo you're the strongest person that I know and whatever you choose to do I will be proud of you he said with a soft smile and I said I will help Team RWBY and their friends to take down Salem and Roman then said this is goodbye for now Neo but take heart in knowing that I will always be with the ghost said before disappearing from sight and I then gathered myself together before I headed off on my journey to help Team RWBY & their friends to gather the relics and defeat Salem. 

After a eight month searching for the scattered members of Teams RWBY, JRN, CFVY, ABRN, & others I managed to find them at Haven Academy fighting my former allies Mercury Black, Cinder Fall, Emerald Sustrai, Hazel Rainart Adam Taurus and the White Fang, During my eight months of searching for the heroes across the many different kingdoms I saw all the pain and suffering that this war had caused to the civilian populations and so I decided that it needed to help the heroes to end this destructive war and stop the suffering of the innocent people who weren't involved in the conflict. I rushed to the side of Team RWBY and as we fought against my former allies I singled out Cinder Fall and I then charged into battle against my former employer with my battlecry of FOR ROMAN. 

Once our blades had collided Cinder looked at me with a look of disgust and she yelled TRAITOR and I countered her comment with the snarky remake saying ow that hurts Cinder I though we were friends I spat with venom and I then said I never should've trusted you, you psycho bitch I fought her with determination and grit but as we fought Cinder temporally blinded me by punching me with her fire covered hand into my face which caused the ashes to go into my eyes.     

Even though I was temporally blind I still fought the bastard fall maiden and after a long and hard fought battle we won the battle but Cinder and allies had escaped though it wasn't all that bad since a lot of The White Fang soliders and members were forced to surrender at the conclusion of the battle. After the battle I was dragged to an empty classroom in Haven Academy for questioning about what I knew about Salem plans as well as any useful information on her inner circle. 

My interrogators were Winter Schnee and Qrow Branwen who questioned me for hours and I gave them as much useful info that I had concerning Salem's Plans as well as her inner circle and once I was done being questioned I broke down into tears and I cried my heart out for quite a while and all the while Winter Schnee gently rubbed my back and she spoke sweet nothings to me which surprised me greatly since I wasn't expecting her to be so maternal and once I had calmed down enough I asked Specialist Schnee I know that me changing sides won't stop me from being punished at the conclusion of this war will it? Winter said sadly it doesn't Neo but I promise that when it's over I will talk to whatever judge you end up in front of and I will see if I can get you a reduced sentence from a possible life sentence to possibly a three year sentence as well as a few years of community service though until this war is over I will be keeping an eye on you. And I said I understand, Specialist Schnee then said what caused you to change sides? I then said well during my search for the teams across the kingdoms I saw just how much they suffered because of the war I decided that I was the right thing to do Specialist Schnee though I have one request and Winter said what's your request young one and I said is it possible if Roman Torchwick can receive a posthumous pardon for his crimes because like me we both were manipulated and lied to about everything and Winter said I will see what I can do and I said that's all I ask for.  

After Several Months I was able to gain the trust of the good guys and I helped them thwart Salem's plans at every turn until the day came to storm her castle and end the war once and for all.
