Chapter One Hundred & Sixty Seven An Old Friend returns pt 2

June 19th

The three of us talked for a while after Lira put Alexander down for a nap around three in the guest bedroom with permission from Neo and we learned everything that Trivia has been up to the past twenty years, we learned that she has become a successful nurse and that she has a daughter whom she adopted fifteen years ago.

After a little while longer I looked down at my watch and I saw that it nearly five o clock p.m. I was starting to get hungry and before too long my stomach began to growl and Trivia looked at me and she said how about I order us something to eat my treat! Lira and I quietly discussed what kind of food that we wanted eat.

After a few minutes we decided that we were really hungry for Chinese food and so Trivia put in the order and then while Lira and Trivia went over to the table to talk I went to wake up Alex, Once I had entered the guest room I walked over to the bed and I gently woke up our son.

When Alex woke up he said Dad what time is it and I said it's about six fifteen in the evening bud, Alex then said I really like Aunt Trivia dad! I couldn't help but smile and I then ruffled his hair and I said I'm glad bud.

Come on let's go and see your mom and Aunt Trivia and so Alex crawled out of the bed and then he followed me out to the dining room, Once we had reached the dining room Alex walked over to his mom and he sat down next to her, all the while Neo watched Alex closely.

I can tell that she adores him and I get the feeling that Trivia may offer to babysit for Lira & I every so often, After a little while longer the food arrived and Trivia answered the door and she tipped the delivery man and then she brought the food into the dining room.

Once the food was on the table we all began to eat and laugh about things that happened in the past, I was telling the story of the first time that Trivia tried to bake a cake for my birthday but she ended up causing a big mess in the kitchen.

As I continued to tell the story Trivia's face kept getting redder and redder until I finally finished the story, I thought that I was in the clear but boy was I wrong she then began to tell Lira and Alex many embarrassing stories about me.

I guess that it's true that revenge is a best dish served cold, I quickly learned to not tell stories about Neo or she will tell stories about me to my wife and son, After several more hours the four of us started to get tired.

Trivia insisted that we spend the night since it was started pouring rain and a thunderstorm rolled in behind it, Lira and I agreed and then we went to bed while Trivia put Alex back in the guest room and she tucked him in before she went to bed, Lira and I went out to the car and we grabbed our suitcases as well as Alex's suitcase.

Once in our assigned room we got ready for bed before we fell asleep in each other's arms.
