June 15th

(Salem) When I woke up this next morning the sun was beginning to rise and so I quietly untangled myself from Mackenzie and I then got out of bed, once I had gotten out of the bed I left the room.

I headed to room to get ready for the day and after about fifteen minutes I was ready for the day, I then went down to the kitchen to begin cooking breakfast.

When I got down there I walked into the kitchen I saw that Mackenzie was standing on a stool trying to reach a box of cereal out of the cupboard, when she was about to grab the box the chair started to tip over and so I raced over and I caught Mackenzie as she started to fall.

I gently placed her on the floor and I asked her Are you alright sweetie? Mackenzie said while nodding I'm good granny and I said good, why don't I make some eggs and bacon for breakfast does this sound good and Mackenzie nodded.

I quickly gathered the ingredients and I then started to cook breakfast Mackenzie said thanks for not hurting sissy granny, I said while cooking your welcome dear and then I continued to cook the bacon and eggs.

Once I was done cooking breakfast I then put some eggs and bacon onto two plates and I made sure to leave plenty of eggs and bacon for everyone else, I then carried the plates over to the table and I then carried them over to the table.

Once I had reached the table I then placed one plate in front of where I was going to sit and the other plate in front of Mackenzie, I then cut up her food into smaller pieces so it would be easier for her to digest.

Once I had finished cutting up Mackenzie's food I then walked over to my spot and I sat down, once I had taken a seat I began to start eating and as we both ate the was a comfortable silence and it was very relaxing.

As I was taking a drink of water Mackenzie asked a question that caught me off guard, Granny is it true what people have said about you and what you have done in the past? I swallowed the water before I began speaking.

I then said yes part of what people say about me is true but that's only partially true because there every story has two sides to it, I really want to tell you the whole story but you're still too young to understand it but I will tell you in the future the whole story.

You know you kinda remind me of my daughters Fall and Winter from eons ago, they both were very intelligent as toddlers, they were always asking questions and seeking answers.

Talking about my girls made me smile slightly, though I really do miss my girls the sad part of being immortal is that I outlive all of my friends and family.

Once Mackenzie and I got done eating I then walked out to the sink and I then placed the dishes into it, then I walked back over to the table and I took Mackenzie's hand and I took her on a tour of the castle.
