Chapter One Hundred & Sixty Six An old friend returns pt 1

June 18th

(Trivia Vanille) I was at my kitchen table answering a email from one of the patients in my wing on my day when I heard the sound of knocking on the front door so I excused myself from the table and I went to answer the door, When I arrived at the door I saw someone whom I hadn't seen since the night that Beacon fell.

The person standing on my front porch was Roman Torchwick and I noticed that he wasn't alone standing on his right was a female who looked to be in her early forties, after a few moments of silence Roman was the one to break the ice.

Roman then said Hello Trivia it's really good to see you and I stood there slack jawed that he remembered my birth name though I quickly regained my composure, I then said it's good to see too Roman why don't you two please come in and Roman said I will join you inside in a minute I have to get mine and Lira's son out of the car.

While Roman went to grab their son I lead Lira inside my home, As we walked inside Lira said with a small smile So you're the famed Trivia/Neo that Roman has talked about for the past twenty years and I said with a chuckle I hope that they were good things, I then asked Lira if she was thirsty and she replied no she wasn't.

I went into the kitchen while Lira went into the living room and while she got situated I made myself a cup of tea and a few minutes later Roman walked inside with a little boy who looked to be about five years old, Roman and their son headed into the living room and joined Lira.

Once I was finished making my cup of tea I then walked out to the living room and I joined them, I sat down in my armchair and I asked Roman the question that has been on my mind since we were standing on the porch.

Roman How did you survive being eaten by the Grimm? Roman then chuckled and he said well after I lost my battle to little red and the Grimm ate me It flew away from Beacon and the Grimm flew for days before I stopped flying somewhere in Northern Vale.

Once the Grimm had landed somewhere in Northern Vale and it was in a nest I used my weapon to blow open its mouth and I quickly made my escape, After I escaped its mouth I then carefully climbed down the mountain that the nest was situated on.

Once I had reached solid ground I then ran for a couple of hours before I collapsed by a river from exhaustion and hunger, I thought that I was going to die there and the last thing that I thought before I fell unconscious was that I hoped that you were safe.

When I came to I saw that I wasn't on the river bed anymore and that I was currently in a small two bedroom home, I tried to sit up but a pair of soft hands gently pushed me back down on the bed.

A soft voice said to me Try not move too much your body still needs to heal from its wounds, I was shocked that someone would bother to save me and bandage my wounds.

The person then stepped into the light and revealed their-self my savior was a young woman who looked to be in her early thirties and she had aqua blue eyes and blonde hair, They then said don't be afraid I'm not going to hurt you, She then said that her name's Lira and she had rescued me from the river bed about two days.

And for the last two days Lira had been taking care of me from filling my body with liquids and feeding me food to changing my bandages etc, It took a long time for my body to fully recover from the severity of my injuries.

Since I had nowhere to go and Lira's refusal to let me leave I decided to stay with her since we had started to form a relationship with each other, I'm sorry that I didn't try to contact you Trivia.

While I was recovering Lira helped me see the mistakes and errors that I had committed as a criminal and I decided that I wanted to move forward and try to be a better person, Lira helped show me that there was more to life than being a criminal.

About five years later after the war had ended Lira & I got married and after the wedding we spent the next ten years traveling the world helping rebuild distant villages cities and continents even ones beyond the known map of Remnant, As we traveled I became a successful businessman and I'm currently the CEO of Torchwick Enterprises which is a company that makes dust crystals and powder products.

As Roman finished talking the little boy tugged on Roman's sleeve and he asked Daddy who is the lady in the chair? Roman then said that Alex is your auntie Trivia we used to be partners, Alex then ran over to my chair and he then climbed up into my lap and he said Hi Auntie Trivia and my heart soared as I looked at Alex, Hi little guy it's very nice to meet you.
