Chapter Twenty Three Summer & Raven

December 28th 5:30
On The Island Of Patch
(Summer Rose Branwen) I was in the kitchen cooking dinner for my wife Raven & I have been married for eight years now, Sadly Tai's no longer with us anymore he was killed during a Grimm Hunt nine years ago and I dearly miss him but I know that Taiyang wouldn't want Raven & I to depressed he would want us to being there for each other and the girls which is why a year after Tai's passing Raven and I tied the knot and got married and we have been married to each other for eight years. We both couldn't be happier and I was able to get another step daughter out of the union of Raven & I and I love Trivia like she is one of my own, So for tonight's dinner I'm making steak and eggs as well some mash potatoes and green beans, this meal was Raven's favorite, Raven will be home in one hour after doing a Grimm Extermination mission for the governor of Patch which is why I making dinner for us. Once I was finished making dinner I then set the table and once I had finished setting the table I then went upstairs to get cleaned up and once I had reached our bedroom I walked to the bathroom and I brushed my hair and I also brushed my teeth and once I finished getting ready I walked out of our bedroom before I walked back down the stairs and I then walked outside and I sat down on our front porch and I waited for my wife to get back home, After an hour of sitting on the porch I heard the sound of a raven's caw and I looked up at a large tree in our yard and I yelled welcome home love and the raven flew towards me before my wife transformed back into her human form and she mumbled so much for stealth and I said Rave your going to have to try harder if you want to actually surprise me and she just stuck her tongue out at me and she said whatever Sum and I then said let's go inside I made you your favorite meal and Raven said with excitement Really Sum? And I replied Yep popping the p and I then used my semblance and I ran inside the house.

Once I had raced to the kitchen I walked over to the stove and I gathered all of the prepared food and I then placed it on the table and I then sat back down and I waited for my wife to walk into the kitchen and I didn't have to wait to long and once Raven had walked into the kitchen she pouted and then she said no fair you used your semblance that's cheating and I said while trying to contain my laughter hey all's fair in love and war babe and Raven's eyes turned blood red and she then walked over to me and then she whispered into my ear saying you're getting punished later young lady and I said sarcastically ohh I'm so scared babe and I then said why don't you take a seat and let's eat our dinner babe I then said how hungry are you Rave? Raven replied that she was starving and so I said well let's dig in then. As we ate we both talked about our days Raven said that the Grimm had been becoming bolder with each passing day which which made me concerned and I thought to myself the Grimm would only become even bolder than normal if Salem or one of her descendants are alive and growing their power, But that doesn't make sense since Salem was defeated and killed right? I must have been lost in deep thought because Raven was now standing next to me and she then lightly shook my shoulder and she said Summer snap out of it which pulled me out of my thoughts and I said sorry Rave I got lost in thought and Raven said it's alright love, I then said Rave do you think that it's possible that the reason the Grimm are becoming bolder is because of a descendant of Salem and Raven said it's possible but if that's the case then we all have to remain vigilant and prepared for anything Summer and I said I Agree Rave not let's finish eating dinner and then let's go watch the new sitcom STRQ which is based off the adventures of us when we were at Beacon. After we had finished eating our dinner Raven went to the living room to get the show setup while I did the dishes, Once I had finished doing the dishes I then walked out into the living room and I joined my wife on the couch and we both STRQ until we both grew tired and then we both retired to our bedroom where we had our fun before we fell asleep in each other's arms.
