Chapter Forty New Teacher at Beacon pt 2

                                                                                                                             January 14th                                                                                                        
After Class       
(Blake Xiao Long) As I was getting ready for my next class I heard a pair of running feet and I barely had time to brace myself when a blur of rose petals crashed into me, Once I had regained my bearings and everything had stopped spinning I then smiled at my niece and I said hi Summer how has your classes gone so far today? Summer said they have been great Aunt Blake what are you doing here Aunt Blake? Well Summer I have been brought onto the Beacon staff since Professor Oobleck's going to retire at the end of the week and so I will be taking over for Professor Oobleck once he steps down Friday.

Summer then said that's so very cool Aunt Blake and I said it sure is though I won't be showing favorites to anyone even my own son since I don't want the rest of your classmates to say that I'm playing favorites and Summer said fair enough make sure that you all pay attention and behave yourselves since I have your parent's on speed dial I said teasingly and Summer said I am sure that you do Aunt Blake well I got to go to Professor Goodwich's class though I will see you next hour and I then placed a kiss on my niece's forehead and I said you better go so that you aren't late for class with Professor Goodwich and Summer then said okay see you later Aunt Blake before she zoomed off to Professor Goodwich's class while I got organized for my next class.

After my 10:30 class had ended I took a seat at my desk and I then pulled out my newest book in the man with two souls book number 8 The man with far to many souls from my bag and I read for about ten minutes before I put my book back into my bag and I then got my papers in order and then the door to the lecture hall opened and the students started to file into the lecture hall and I saw both of my nieces Summer & Kelly as well as my son Blaze and my nephew Calvin and I gave them a small smile and the four of them took their seats before the warning bell rang and then after the actual bell had rang.

Once class had started I then said with a smile on my face Good-Morning class I'm your teacher Mrs. Xiao Long and I wanted to welcome you to your lectures on the Great War and Grimm Studies I noticed that the students didn't look interested in what I said so I thought to myself time to start this class off with a bang and so I said do you want to hear a knock knock joke and Summer said from the front row sure why not Mrs. Xiao Long and I then rapped my knuckles on the desk and I said get it knock knock which caused the students to chuckle.

And once the laughter had stopped I said well I'm glad that I entertained you all but let's get down to business shall we? I then said why don't we go around the room and tell our classmates in our rows two things about ourselves and so the class started to tell their rowmates two things about themselves,
I couldn't help but smile at how well this class has gone so far and I could tell that the students were enjoying themselves with the game and I smiled at the sight of my students laughing and having fun.

After an hour of playing the game the bell rang which signaled the end of class and the students then start to filing out of the lecture hall before leaving the lecture hall Summer walked over to me with her team behind her and she said your first class with our freshmen class Aunt Blake or should I say Professor Xiao Long and I said teasingly be careful Ms Rose-Schnee or I will have to issue you more homework and I know that you don't want that do you? and Summer shook her head and she then said well congradulations on your first sucessful class with our freshmen class before Summer turned on her heels and she then left with her teammates following close behind her and I then walked back over to my desk and I sat back down in my chair and I then started to plan for my next class.
