Chapter Twelve Summer & Her Little Dragon Reunite & Motherly instincts

(Yang Belladonna) Today Blake & I are on our way to visit Weiss Ruby & Summer on the next leg of our journey and we decided to take a rental car to get all the way to the northern coast of Vale  and as we are riding in the borrowed mustang I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Blake's ears were twitching with worry and distress so I said what's wrong luv and Blake said I feel that something's clearly wrong in this neighborhood babe and I said I agree and so we drove further until Blake said stop the car love and so I obliged to my wife's request by stopping the car and Blake then unbuckled her seatbelt and then she opened the passenger door and she stepped out of the car and she started to walk in the direction of whatever was causing her distress while I waited for Blake to return from whatever had been bothering her since we had entered this small town but I got a very bad feeling in my stomach that something was very wrong but I knew that my wife was the best at what she does which is why I'm glad to be able to call her mine.

(Blake Belladonna) After I had gotten out of the rental car I walked in the direction of where I heard the sound of whimpering that my cat ears had picked up about three blocks back and since I had no idea where the whimpering sound was coming from so I kept listening intently for the direction and once I had a more definitive idea of where to go I ran in the direction of whimpering sound was coming from I saw that what looked to a seven year old faunus boy based on the cat ears on his head who was cornered in the back of the alley by four thugs and so I silently unsheathed Gambol Shroud it's sheath and then I quieted my footsteps and as I silently approached the four thugs and I then used some sign language signals that Trivia had taught me and I signed to the little boy that I was a friend and that I was going to help him out, I then signed to him telling him to close his eyes and look away and he just nodded his head and once I had seen that he had his eyes closed I then silently approached the thug that was nearest to me and I then quickly walked over to him and I then placed my right hand over his mouth while I retrieved my serrated knife from my belt with my left hand the knife in question I used quite often for hunting Grimm and I then slit his neck and I then slowly lowered him to the ground and once the deceased body had been laid on the ground I ran down the alley and after just a few minutes I had dealt with these horrible men who decided hurt a faunus especially a defenseless little boy. I approached the little boy and I then knelt down in front of him and I then gently tapped him on the shoulder which caused him to flinch away from me and I then said softly it's okay sweetie you're safe and the little boy then opened his eyes and when his eyes meet mine I said my name's Blake Belladonna what's your name honey and the little faunus boy said with a slight stuttered B Blaze K Keller and I said It's nice to meet you Blaze I then looked around and then my eyes returned to Blaze's and I said where are your mommy and daddy and he said on the verge of tears saying that they had killed by a faunus hating gang about five days ago and that he had nowhere to go which broke my heart and I then said why don't you come with me and my wife Blaze and you can join our family and Blaze looked at me with such a large smile and he asked really ms Blake and I said really sweetheart come on let's get out of here dear I said as I took his hand into mine and I then led him out of the dark alley and into the sunlight.

(Yang Belladonna) After an hour of waiting for my wife in the car I saw her come walking out of the adjacent alley with a little faunus boy holding her hand and I could see a soft smile etched onto her face and then a few moments later Blake walked up to the car and she then placed the little boy into the backseat of the mustang and she then buckled him in and then she got back into the passenger seat and then buckled herself in and then I said hi love and Blake said hi babe and then I asked the question who's this little cutie  and Blake then said this is Blaze babe and he has nowhere to go and no-one to take care of him I was wondering if we could take him in and I said with a smile sure love. After we had left the little town we continued the drive to the coast and all the while Blaze was asleep in the backseat the poor little guy had been through so much but I looked at my wife in the mirror and I saw love ebbing in her amber colored eyes and I could tell just how much she had already grown very attached to Blaze and I could feel that I was growing attached to him as well and after about another hour I we had arrived at the outskirts of the manor, I drove the rental mustang up-to the steel gate and I put in the gate code and the gate then swung open and I then pulled in through the open gate and up to the long driveway and once I had pulled up near the garage and then I put the gearshift into park and then I turned off the car and then I gently shook my sleeping wife and I said we are here love and Blake then opened her eyes and she said okay babe then Blake unbuckled her seatbelt before she got out of the car and she headed up to the front door while I unbuckled Blaze and then I gently picked him up and I placed him into my arms and then Blake locked the car since I had given the keys after I had turned off the keys prior to her getting out of the car. I then walked up to the front steps before I stood next to my wife and I then said in a whisper did you knock and Blake then said yes I did babe before she placed a kiss on my cheek and only a few seconds after Blake had kissed me on my  cheek the door opened and Ruby then beckoned for us to come inside and so Blake and I followed Ruby inside and then Ruby led us to the living room and I could tell that Ruby was excited about something. Once we had walked into the living room I saw Weiss Summer & a hooded figure and as I walked closer to the hooded figure stood up and then they lowered their hood I saw someone who I thought that I wouldn't ever see again, the hooded figure was my momma Summer Rose aka my Supermom aka Baker of Cookies & Slayer of Monsters, I handed Blaze back to Blake and then I ran over to Summer with tears running down my face and upon reaching momma I threw my arms around her neck and I then cried into her right shoulder and all the while momma gently rubbed my back and she said softly there there dear momma is here and that she had missed me so very much and after I stayed in momma's embrace for a few minutes I broke off the embrace and I stepped back and I said I've missed you momma and Summer said I have missed you so much my sun dragon which was my nickname from when I was a little girl. I then motioned for Blake to come over and she walked over to my side and I said Blake this is Summer Rose technically she's my step-mom but she was more then willing to take one the role of the mother in my life as a child since my mother Raven wasn't able to be around during my childhood.

(Summer Rose) I noticed a little faunus boy in my daughter in law's arms and I then said who's this Blake and Blake said this Summer is Blaze I found him while we were on our way here  Yang & I are planning on taking him in and adopting him which would make him your grandson, When Blake said this I had a large smile on my face and I then said may I hold him and Blake said yes she then gently placed Blaze into my arms and I gently held the extremely small boy into my arms and I held him in my arms and I couldn't believe how lucky my life had become during the course of the last four days I have been able to reconnect with both of my daughters, I was able to meet my daughter in laws and I'm blessed to be able to have two grandchildren of my own. I'm also thankful that I had been able to live until now after being gone for fifteen years but as I looked at my large family I couldn't have been more thankful for this second chance at life after this train of thought I walked over to my family with Blaze still in my arms and I spent time with my family.

(Author's Note) Next Chapter will take place ten years in the future with all the kids going off to Beacon Academy, until tomorrow goodnight.
