"Yep. I got tired of living alone, and i can't really cook, so Katsuki's living with me."
Izuku turns to Katsuki, trying to bring him into the conversation.
"How long has it been Katsuki? I forget sometimes."
Katsuki looks at him, confused, but then he sees Uraraka's lips turn down in a slight frown. He grins and sits up, unlinks their hands, and puts that arm around Izuku's shoulders.
"Its been years nerd, seriously how could you ever forget."
Izuku wears a sheepish smile and laughs, leaning into him.
"I don't know how you could remember!"
The two boys whisper to each other, and then look at Katsuki. One of them speaks, pointing at Katsuki with a slightly disgusted look on his face.
"Are you wearing makeup too or...?"
Katsuki's brow twitches and he decides to ignore the look on the bastard's face.
"No. Unlike those other clowns two seats away from me."
Izuku snickers quietly and the two girls glare at him.
"What was that bitch?"
Uraraka's friend is slightly leaned over her part of the table, trying to get a good look at Katsuki. Izuku looks at the two of them, pretending to be worried. He puts his hands up and hastily tries to explain.
"I'm sorry, Katsuki's like that, he doesn't mean it he's just joking around."
The two girls look at each other and are quiet. The other boy clears his throat.
"So, um-"
Uraraka's friend interrupts him, speaking louder. She has a smile plastered on her face, sickly sweet. Its directed right at Izuku.
"Uraraka tells me your really loaded Midoriya kohai~ Mind buying some drinks for us?"
Izuku still keeps the smile on his face, but his eyes pierce her own. She falters.
"There's so much wrong with that sentence. First of all, we're the same age, in the same class, and at the same school. You are not above me, if anything it's me who's above you."
She stiffens and folds her arms around herself, uncomfortable. The other people in the group are stunned into silence and Katsuki watches Izuku with awe, grinning ear to ear.
"I mean, you're asking me for drinks when Uraraka san practically begged me to come here."
Uraraka turns even more red and opens her mouth to say something, but Izuku just continues on, not once looking away from the girl who is now looking at the others for help.
"Second, i don't even know any of you besides Uraraka san, third, the only person I'm paying for is Katsuki since i dragged him here."
Clearly, she didn't think he would say anything, but he is allowed to be nice and still stick up to someone's bullshit.
"You wore that for a reason, right? Go find someone else to buy shit for you bit-"
Katsuki laughs and izuku stops himself. He looks at everyone in the group and nervously laughs.
"Sorry was that rude?"
Note: Kohai - This is the opposite of senpai, or sempai, and is used toward underclassmen in school or newcomers in the workplace. It implies that the person it is being used for is of a lower station.
