Chapter 15 (Kendall) ( Confused)

Shane has drove us to school and back all week .
I can admit now I have a crush on him . I use to think it would never go no where , because of his relationship with Samantha . But now he is single and he is free . But I still don't think we can be . He is very experienced and I am just not . But still every morning when we go to school there is these looks they are small and short but they are there .
I know he couldn't think of me like that he could have any girl and he has had a lot of them so I heard .

As I put my books up . I hear a voice from beside me
I look over it is Derek he looks as handsome as ever .

" Sorry what did you say I was in my own little world " I admit

" I just said how are you " he explains and laughs

            " good and you " I reply

        " I am " he starts but stops
Because Shane comes behind him and pats him on the shoulder it must have been sort of hard because it made a loud noise .

               " What you up to Derek "Shane says and he makes the boy's name a lot longer than it should be .

         " nothing really " he answers he has a strange look on his face

Shane looks at me and it is in a strange way to.

I look back and forth at the 2 boys . I feel like there is something going on that I am unaware of .

         " Well I guess I am intruding I didn't mean to " he says and walks away

I have no ideal what he is talking about .

             " You was not intruding " I scream out
He is walking so fast he might have heard me but he kept on walking.

               " Let him go , he ain't worth talking to " Derek says

I am taken aback  by his choice of words .

               " I just don't understand what that was " I admit

                 " What  it was Shane Pitts being Shane Pitts and you can believe he is up to something "  Derek claims

I don't get it .
I have no clue what is going on .

               " Derek he just asked you what you been up to how was that up to something." I ask

       " Because he has barley spoke to me in years and he has a few times recently " he tells me

          " Like was you friends before " I ask

           "No girl " he screams and it comes out so country

            " Ok then I don't get it " I say

        " You don't get it because you are innocent, and not like that jerk " he says and there is a madness behide his words.

                " I admit that he can be a little rude and he is definitely not someone who you can be close to , but I don't see how him walking over and trying to have a conversation is bad in anyway and I highly doubt it was planned or some kind of plot ." I say

          " Then you don't know that asshole " he spits
I get angry but I don't know why .

I guess I don't know him that well .

But I don't t know Derek that well either .

" Derek the bell is about to ring and I have to go over my notes I will see you later ." I tell him
