Chapter 13 (Shane ) Must break up

As I walk down stairs I am filled with excitement . I am so excited to see Kendall Meddler .
She told me I should break up with Samantha and that is what I am going to do .
I don't want to hurt her . But I am not in this relationship at all .

There she is sitting eating looking so sweet and innocent.
                 " Yo yo " I say as I get in my chair at our bar where we eat breakfast.
      They all look at me .
My mother says "good morning son"

    Kendall laughs .
My sister gives me a strange look .

My dad says
                   "Good morning "
I know my family has found it strange , me eating with them when I have not for so long .

The grits taste good . I notice Kendall has some on her plate .

" Cant believe Kendall is trying grits ." Jesica says
She must have seen I was looking at Kendall's plate

" Yea it is time most things I have tried I have liked ." She boasts

I smile at the thought that I have showed her some stuff .

" Well go on then " my sister encourages her

She takes a deep breath and puts the spoon to her mouth then she takes a bite .
In this moment it is completely ok for me to stare at Kendall' pouty lips while she eating because everyone else is and they wouldn't think nothing of it .

" mm it is really good " she says
I laugh but only a little .
She looks so attractive chewing , I know she is a pretty girl but I find myself reall attracted to her . Maybe it's the fact that I am from the south and she is a cool California girl , or maybe because we are under the same roof , whatever it is I am very very attracted to her .

Kendall continues to eat her grits and I finish my plate .

My dad gets up and he gives my mother a kiss.

I cringe .
They act like love birds but I know the truth .

He then. Feeds her a strawberry .

That makes me want to throw up my whole breakfast.

I get up quickly cause my chair to make a loud noise .

   Every one looks at me .

              " I am leaving " I announce

          " So you are just not driving us no more " my sister complains

      I look at Kendall she is eating a piece of toast.
But she looks at me .

I don't want to hurt her feelings .

            " No I will wait in the car yall take your time " I tell them then I leave .

The ride to school starts off quite until Jessica is blabbing in about her costume.

Finally she asks Kendall

" So where did you get your costume , I mean you didn't go with me Christina the other day when we got ours"

" Well it really ain't a costume it is a dress I already own but it looks like it ." She says

" How you are a nurse ?" She questions

" It's a cute white dress it looks like a nurse , I hate that I have not got a hat like a old timey nurse but it will be ok ." She explains

The school days long and drawn out .

I walk up to Jessica and Kendall and tell them

" I have a errand to run so can y'all get a ride with someone else or something "
