I put on some dangling earrings and take a look in the mirror. I am scared to see Jessica. She took it  not good . She called me a slut .
But I don't really see where I am wrong it is my decision. And if Shane was not with me he would be with someone  else .
I hate that thought .

I shake the thought and walk out .

  Shane is waiting for me in the hallway

He is leaning against the wall he looks so cool .
Like he don't have a worry . But I know this drama with his sister has to be bothering him . It is bothering me .
              " hey" I say my voice sounds low
       " Hey I figure we should walk down together stand a untied front "  he tells me

I give him a small smile.

      When we get down stairs Jessica is already eating .
Both me and Shane is eating quickly

We tell his parents will we see them later .

We get out and wait for Jessica .
When she gets out she walks pass us like we are not there .
      " Jessica come on I will drive you to school" Shane yells

              " I would rather walk" she says so matter of factly

We drive on to school .

              " She is never going to speak to me again" I complain

                   " She can't stay mad at us forever " Shane tries to reassure me

              " She can't stay mad at you forever you are her brother I am nothing to her " I say

           " You are her best friend " he says
     " Who just got in her life" I say

He reaches over and holds my hand.
I know he is trying to be nice but it is hard to think Jessica may not be my friend no more .

He takes his hand to pull into the parking spot .

We sit for a minute in quite .

              " I think we should let people know about us today." He says

         I look it him and now I can tell he is worried.

          " You do ?" I question

               " Yea if we keep it a secret Jessica won't see us as serious and I am just scared I am gonna end up losing you " he admits

It had to be hard for a boy like Shane Pitts to admit that .

                   " You are not going to lose me" I tell him
Then I move closer and kiss him .

He holds on to me tightly

And for about 10 minutes we are lost in a kiss .

That is until we hear a loud thud causing us to break apart
  We look up is Jessica.

                " get a room " she yells and then she flips us off

           " She just beat the hood " Shane says
In disbelief

           " Oh yes she is coming around " I say

Right before we walk into the school Shane grabs my hand .
So I guess he was serious about letting everyone know . He looks so adorable he is being so sweet I believe we can make this work .

We walk up to my locker which just happens to be by Jessica's

I hear Jessica tell Blair and Christina
" I have so much to tell you "
