Chapter 72 ( Kendall) (Swimming in the rain )

There was no school today just a meeting for the teachers . So I didn't get up until 11 .
After I showered and got ready and walked down stairs and I was starving.
As I get into the kitchen I am stopped in my tracks .
Just the sight of Shane Pitts does something to my heart .
I don't understand how this happened so quickly or maybe it was slowly. I knew him since we was kids I was always fond of him like I loved to play with him but I don't think I had a crush or nothing on him .

         " Good morning Kendall " he says to me

       " Good morning " I reply

I get out cereal corn flakes and milk and strawberries.
             I sit it along with a bowl on the counter
        " Where is your parents " I ask

      " They actually got a call and went out of town " he tells me

       " And Jessica is on a all day date with Bo " I tell him

          " All day " he questiones

       " Yea she is in a  loving relationship where you can spend all day together and not get bored and still want to be with that person "  I say outloud
I didn't mean to but I did .

               " You could be in a relationship like that ." He says
I just shake my head and fix my cereal .

          " Strawberries huh you really like those " he says
I know what he means he is referring to what I did when I was trying to get back at him . So I used Brayden .

       He Scoots over .

        Thunder clashes.

          " It is supposed to rain all day " he says
     " yep I heard " I say and take the last bite of my cereal

I feel his eyes on me .
But I can't let him get to me .

I pour myself a glass of milk .

          " I have a ideal for us " he tells me
I turn around and I am  looking at him

        " You got to be kidding me ." I shout

          I pause and look at him just staring back at me .

            " Last night you tricked me and we was in that small rooms for hours that is basically like kidnapping " I scream

         " You were never in any danger " he says and walks closer to me

I was not in fact I had fun but I can't let him know that .

          " You still lied " I yell

        " Kendall I had to you won't talk to me or be around me "
He says
And his voice cracks

       " Whatever tell me what your ideal is " I demand

He smiles .
Oh he is up to something.

           

        I can tell he is coming up with something I just don't. Know what .

                 " Let's prove you can be in a relationship where you can spend all day and still want to be with them"
He says and his smiles gets wider

           " Shane that is just silly " I state

     "No it ain't we are in this big house just the 2 of us we might as well be together. You know  hang out " he gets close to me

I think for a second I want to hang out with him but I know I shouldn't .

         A big thunder booms and I jump and I get a little closer to him .
                    He puts his strong hands on my shoulders
                   " see I will protect you "  he says
