Chapter 92 ( Shane ) ( Meeting Toby )

I am staring at the roof . I don't understand Kendall she was so into it . But then she ran off crying .
I know she is scared that is the only thing that would make any sense .

There is the knock on the door .
I jump and run to as if I was trying to win a race .
It is Kendall.

     Her face is a little red I guess where she been crying I can only hope she has change her mind and she wants to be with me .

           " Unm there is someone I would like you to meet " she tells

What there is someone. Else In the house .
Who could she want me to meet .
Maybe she has a server love child ,

Wait what that makes no sense my mind is acting overly crazy right now.

We walk down stairs

There is a tall boy I think he is like a few years older than me .
I don't know who he could be .

It not her  boyfriend because she is with that jerk Derek .

          " Shane this is my brother " she tells me

      " Hi " he says

          " This is Toby " I ask her and look at her
She nods
Then I realized I may be being a little rude so I go over to Toby and. Say

               " I have heard so much about you " and shake his hand

            " oh I have not heard anything about you except you are The Pitts son" he tells

That hurt a little she never mentioned me to her brother .

But I am going to try not to act like my heart didn't brake a little more that it already had been broke .

        " I am and our family's use to vacation together all the time hard to believe it is the 1 st time I am meeting you " I say and let out a nervous laugh

       " Yea you know me and Kendall have not known each other all that long " he admits

I look at her well I actually stare . I am so attracted
To her it is not even funny .
The fact that she slept with Derek makes me sick but I still want her I want to be with her I can forgive her of that I know she is confused and scared so I will forgive if I can convince her to give us another shot .

        " Are ye couple " he asks

        " No we ain't " Kendall says

       " We use to be" I say while still looking at her

I know this makes it seem like I still want to be with her And I do .

I can careless if they know it .

           I shake my head from the thoughts

           " So Toby why are you in town for "

It is not everyday that someone from . L.A. comes to        Alabama

          " I just wanted to see my sister " he says

I smile a weak smile

            " Umm we was wondering do you think it would be ok if Toby stayed here a few days
Do you think your folks would mind ." Kendall asks

          " Of course he can you know our families or basically like family so I know they won't care ."  I tell them

         " Thanks man " he says

       "the other side of the house is being worked on but you can sleep on the couch it pulls out " I suggest

I got Toby pillows And blankets.
I am trying to be. Nice to him I may never know when I need him on my side to help me. With Kendall.
