Mias POV:
'Fuck! Daniel! Come here quickly!' I shouted, getting up from the sofa, phone in hand, jumping up and down.

My brother ran into the room, standing in the doorway, a smile spreading all the way across his face when he saw my excitement.

'You got it, didn't you?' He asked, running to pick me up before I even gave him an answer.

'I got it.' I laughed, screaming as he threw me over his shoulder, carrying me into the kitchen.

'Mia got the job!' Daniel shouted, getting Lando's attention.

'You got the job! Oh my god!' He chuckled, waiting for me to jump down from my brothers shoulders before pulling me into a hug.

'How exciting is this! I'll be with you all the time, I'll get to interview you, this is so fun!' I exclaimed, letting Lando jump up and down with me.

'You'd better start planning some video ideas, f1 are gonna have you working nonstop. You're gonna have to work with every single team.' He reminded me.

'Don't fret, I've got my list Lando.' I responded, sitting down at the kitchen counter and taking a sip of my brothers drink, out of breath from all of that jumping.

'You're not our little sister anymore.' Lando pouted.

'I'm older than you.' I laughed, pulling out a chair for my brother to sit besides me.

'By 6 months.' He rolled his eyes.

'When do you recon we give her the lecture Lando, now or later?' Daniel teased.

'I absolutely do not need a lecture.' I warned.

'Oh no, you do, they're heartbreakers. The lot of them.' Lando joined in.

'You're one to talk.' I responded.

'We leave me out of this.' He laughed, nudging me.

'Come on, let's go out to eat, my treat.' Daniel insisted, holding his hand out for me to take.

'It's always your treat, Daniel.' I rolled my eyes.

'When you're making big f1 bucks you'll be treating us constantly too!' Lando shouted, heading into the living room to grab his phone.

'I can't believe we go tomorrow. They left it a little late to tell me.' I said, the nerves finally kicking in.

'They knew for weeks it was gonna be you, Mia. They'd not leave it this late if they thought you weren't prepared.' Daniel reassured me.

'Well, I haven't exactly packed.' I mumbled.

'You've not packed!' Daniel shouted, a tinge of humour in his voice.

'I didn't want to throw my life into a suitcase just to find out I didn't get the job.' I responded.

'It was always gonna be your job, idiot.' Lando interrupted.

I rolled my eyes playfully, following my brother outside and locking the door behind me, throwing him the keys. My brother was a little quiet, and that was unlike him.

'Daniel? I'm not sure what's wrong, or if you don't want me to come, but I can do this, I believe in myself.' I whispered so that Lando couldn't hear us.

'Mia, I want you to come, of course I do, but i do not trust you around any of these boys and you're gonna be working with all of them.' Daniel sighed, pulling me into a hug and ruffling up my hair.

'Why don't we start with, oh my, I'm so proud of you!' I teased.

'Oh come on, you know how proud I am of you, I knew you'd get it the second I heard about the opening. But now I'm worried about you.' He said, opening the passenger side door for me and walking around to his own.

'I'm 24 years old, Daniel, I'm not a child anymore.' I said, softly.

'You're still my baby sister, and f1 drivers are arseholes.' He muttered.

'I know, I'm related to one.'

He nudged me, starting the engine and putting on his seatbelt, looking over at me silently, giving me the parent look he did all too often nowadays.

'You're there to do your job. Please, just do your job. I'd hate to go all mean on someone.'

'You can't be mean.' I chuckled.

'If anyone was to hurt you, you bet I would.' He responded.

'I'd love to see that.' Lando mumbled from the backseat, pretending to look out of the window when my brother looked back at him.

'Where are we going? Do I get to choose?' I asked, leaning back in my seat.

'You'll see where we're going soon enough.' Daniel responded, backing out of the drive.

'So I don't get to pick?'

'You're such a child.' Daniel teased.

'I could really go for a Chinese right now.' I began.

'No because I could also totally go for a Chinese right now.' Lando said, leaning forwards in his seat and poking his head inbetween both mine and my brothers.

Daniel sat tight lipped as he pulled up outside of the best Chinese restaurant in the city.

'You know me so well.' I smiled, holding my hand out for him to squeeze.

'How do you know I didn't just pull in here to shut you both up?' He asked.

'Because I know that you love a little forward planning.' I laughed, getting from the car and closing the door behind me, looking around the carpark.

It was filled with expensive cars, and I knew exactly what my brother had done before I'd even stepped inside of the building. I pulled Lando to the side, linking my arm with his and speaking under my breath.

'It's our last day in Australia and he's called all of the drivers over here, hasn't he?' I whispered.

'How could you tell?' He asked, sarcastically, tapping the roof of a Mercedes on the way in.

'Why are they all here?' I whispered.

'There's a huge party tonight, and we're all sharing a jet tomorrow. We decided it was easier for us to all go to the party and fly over to Bahrain tomorrow.' He explained.

'What a way to throw me in at the deep end. Talk about keeping me away from these guys and he throws me into a restaurant full of them!' I exclaimed, gripping Lando tighter when we got inside.

'You'll be fine, they'll love you!' He smiled, peeling my arm from his and reaching down to grab my hand instead, leading me ahead of him and towards a private booth at the back of the restaurant.
