Mias POV:
Despite Charles sleeping on the sofa, he was gone in the morning. It was a relief, because I didn't want to wake up and have to tell him I'd swapped my seat and was going to fly with Lewis.I got ready and packed the remainder of my things into my case, doing it up and wheeling it to my door, taking one last look at the beautiful room I was in before closing the door behind me.
I took the elevator and met Lewis down in reception, who yet again, refused to let me wheel my own case to the car.
'Sure you don't wanna fly with us? We'll miss you.' Lando pouted, pulling me into a hug.
'It's a short flight, Lando, it'll be fine.' I chuckled.
'Okay, well, we'll see you at the airport?' Daniel smiled.
'See you there.' I responded, climbing into the front seat of Lewis's car and turning to say hello to Pierre and Lance, who were both in the back.
'Any reason you're switching to the dark side?' Pierre teased.
'This side is more fun.' I shrugged, laughing as Lewis began to cheer.
A car pulled up besides us and Lewis rolled down his window, leaning out to speak to the driver. Charles. His eyes met mine and he frowned, I thought he would have known about the flight swap, but I guess not.
'You lead, I've gotta stop off at the shops first.' Charles said, glaring at me as he spoke.
'What for?' Lewis frowned, clearly stressed we'd be late and have the pilots waiting.
'Layla wants some food.'
I snapped my head to look at Pierre, who's eyes were telling me absolutely everything I needed to know.
'I didn't know we flew crew first class, Charles.' I said, icy cold.
'I didn't know we flew sisters first class, either.' He snapped.
I laughed, an angry laugh, leaning forwards, ready to argue with him, but Lewis had already pulled his window up and started to drive away. I knew that stupid girl would spend the whole flight fanning over Lando and Danny and it made me mad, knowing she was fucking with our cars.
'Why is she even a mechanic? I've not seen her do a thing the whole time she's been there.' I vented.
'Because she's fucking with you.' Lance said, softly.
'Zak wouldn't have given her the job if he knew. There must be another reason.' I complained.
'Don't stress about it now. We're here for a good flight.' Lewis said, reaching over to give my hand a squeeze.
I nodded, resting my head against the seat and closing my eyes, yet all I could think about was that stupid girl and her plans with my team.
The drive to the airport was fast, thankfully, any longer and someone would've had to carry me, asleep, to the plane.
We went through the usual security checks and met on the strip, readying to board both jets. Layla stood extremely close to Charles, her arm strung over his, but he wasn't paying her much attention.
'I've written you a care sheet for Mia. She'll need a cheese toastie approximately half an hour into the flight, and if she cries, give her a shot of vodka.' Lando joked, holding his heart when I flipped him off.
'Already got the toastie sorted, but I don't think she needs anymore vodka.' Lewis chuckled, wrapping his arm around my neck and pulling me in for a hug.
Charles continued to stare, gripping his phone hard with his spare hand. The doors to both jets opened, letting us know they were ready for us.
'Sure you don't wanna fly with your brother?' Daniel asked, jokingly.
