Mias POV:
'Charles just go.' I said, assuring him it was okay for him to leave me.

'I've done one event for the night and I am not going out again. Not after I thought you were dead.' He said, looking at me as if I was absolutely ridiculous.

'You'll get a penalty if you avoid this night out, bro.' Danny said, sitting besides me on the bed.

'I don't give a fuck, my fiancé is in hospital. The team can let me off of one night out.' He responded, picking up his phone and answering a call from Carlos.

'Why do they give out penalties if you miss nights out? That's so stupid.' I asked my brother.

'It's not a penalty as such, more of a fine. As stupid as it is it's still a part of his job.' He said, giving me a reassuring squeeze.

I opened my mouth to argue but Charles had ended the phone, coming to sit besides me again and giving me a kiss on my forehead.

'I just need to show up and I can leave. I don't have to stay, but they want me to show my face.' He said. I could see how angry he was and I didn't want to make it any harder for him, I was okay by myself for an hour.

'It really is so okay, I promise.' I explained to him, rubbing my thumb over his hand.

'I'm gonna go, show my face, make sure they know how fucking mad I am, and grab you some food on the way back, okay?' He said, his forehead on mine, pulling me so close yet holding me so carefully.

'It's nearly 1am, I don't need any food.' I smiled, kissing him softly.

'Text me if you change your mind, okay?'

I nodded, closing my eyes and feeling him kiss me on the head, before watching him walk out of the door, his blazer in his hand.

'Have you got to go too Danny?' I asked my brother, watching as he was texting angrily on his phone.

'Just for half an hour.' He said, tears in his eyes.

'Hey, I'm okay.' I assured him.

'If you need anything I will be back, okay? Lando is in the waiting room, I'll send him through.' He assured me.

'Why is Lando staying?' I frowned, upset that Charles and Danny had to go but Lando didn't.

'He's spent the last 6 months at every single club and has fulfilled his appearances for now. Me and Charles skip every single one.' He chuckled.

'Okay, send him in.' I smiled, waving goodbye to my brother, eyes on the door waiting for Lando to walk in.

He half ran half stumbled, sitting on the edge of the bed and pulling me into a hug.

'I'm so glad you're okay. I'm also so drunk so I'm so sorry if I say anything stupid.' He rambled.

'You can't say anything stupid to me, it's okay.' I responded.

'I can't believe Charles went. I mean I know he had to but I can't believe it.' He said, shaking his head in disbelief.

I was half listening to him, scrolling through Instagram as I did so, one photo making me stop everything I was doing.

'Lando.' I said, my heart shattering the second I read the caption.

'What? What is it?' He asked slowly, leaning over to look at my phone.
