Mias POV:
'Oh my gosh, Charles, Mia you really are beautiful.' His mother smiled, reaching for my hand and pulling me into a hug.

'Thank you.'

I assumed his younger brother was the blonde one, as he couldn't contain his smile, nudging his older brother in excitement.

'My name's Arthur.' He said, pulling me into a hug.

'Mia. I've heard a lot about you.' I smiled, watching as he looked over my shoulder at Charles.

'Oh yeah?'

'I've got some cool video ideas planned with you.' I explained.

'I really can't wait to hear about them. Charles doesn't deserve all of the spotlight.' He teased.

'No you're right. He's way too boring for the main channel.' I winked.

Charles pulled a face at me, reaching for my hand and kissing it softly on the top of my knuckles.

'My names Lorenzo, nice to meet you.' His older brother smiled, taking my hand and repeating the gesture that Charles had, just on the opposite hand.

'I'm so excited to meet you all.' I exclaimed, allowing Arthur to pull my chair out for me, sitting down besides Charles and opposite his mother.

'So, tell us all about you Mia! Charles speaks of you a lot but it's so exciting to speak to you in person.' She said, reaching for her wine glass.

'I live in Australia with my brother Danny and his bestfriend Lando. I took a year out of university to see what i could do with myself, and I'm not sure if I'll be going back.' I explained.

'What we're you studying?' Lorenzo asked.

'Human Resources.' I said.

'You're much better suited to what you do. I mean, to be able to bring 20 grumpy men from different teams together in the fun ways you have is a talent in itself.' She said, reaching towards to give my hand a squeeze.

Dinner went by, full of compliments and lots of small talk. I loved his mother, she was wonderful. His older brother was the quietest, but that was to be expected. He was observing. Daniel did the same.

'I'm paying, Arthur, don't be ridiculous.' Charles said, snapping me back into reality.

'Shut up. I've gotta make a good impression.' Arthur mumbled, tilting his head towards me.

My mouth twitched up into a smile when I realised what he was doing, and so decided to humour him.

'You know, I'll film with you even if you let Charles pay for dinner. Arthur.' I chuckled.

'I won't be defeated that easy.' He responded, sliding his card towards the waiter and smiling when he picked it up, swiping it against the card machine.

Charles's mum was the first to get up from the table, and so I followed, opening my arms and allowing her to pull me into a comforting hug, her hands on my shoulder.

'You really are a blessing in disguise, Mia. What you're doing for my boy is amazing and in so glad to have you around.' She said, low enough so that Charles couldn't hear.

'That's so sweet, thank you so much. He deserves it all, truly.' I smiled.

'He lost both his father and his godfather in such a short amount of time, I was worried he'd never see the world as innocently as he used to ever again. But I can see it in his eyes when he's with you. All he sees is love.' She whispered.

All he sees is love.

We were yet to even speak about that word, but i knew that I felt it too. To hear it from his mother really made it all feel so real and I was ready for everything to come with him.
