Mias POV:
A week later I was sitting in the Ferrari garage with a brand new race engineer. One seemingly much nicer than Xavi. Charles had sacked him the second the race report came in. I had been proven right and he didn't want me to have to see his face again.

'Okay. Do you want us to run strat 2 past you again?' He asked me.

I smiled, so glad that I was being included in the work my boyfriend was doing. It made me feel so much calmer knowing the plan.

'No, I've got it. Thank you.' I smiled.

'Okay. He's requesting to see you before he heads out.' He said, pressing his finger to his headset so he could listen closer.

I nodded, getting up from my seat and walking through the door into Charles's garage, smiling at the sight of him sitting in his car.

'Hey love, how are you?' He asked, leaning up to give me a kiss on the nose.

'I'm good. You excited?' I asked him, trying to ignore how fast the paparazzi turned their cameras towards us, by turning my back to them.

'So excited. I'm relieved you're with someone trustworthy now too.' He smiled up at me.

'I love watching you race, you know that?' I asked, looking down at him in a moment of awe.

'Go and watch from the balcony my love, grab a pair of headphones. I want to be able to speak to you if I need to.' He said, giving my hand a squeeze.

Before I had a chance to respond, one of his mechanics came up behind me, placing his hand on my shoulder, about to tell me it was time for me to go before Charles practically kept from his car.

'If you touch her again, I will kill you. She goes when I say she does.' He snapped, his hand tightly gripping my waist.

'He's right you know? He eats mechanics for dinner.' Arthur smiled, walking into the garage.

Charles frowned at his brother, glaring at his mechanic once more before getting back into his car.

'I've missed you, where have you been?' I laughed, allowing him to pull me into the tightest hug.

'Me? Where have you been?' He responded, letting go and tapping on the back of his brothers car.

'She's been busy Arthur.' Charles said firmly.

Arthur looked at me with wide eyes, mimicking his older brother when he wasn't looking. It was no secret that Charles had been uptight recently. And nobody had any idea why. Lando seemed to think there had been some bad news on our house, but Ebery time I asked Charles said building work would be done by the time the season was over.

'Time to head out.' Arthur told his brother, reaching down to shake his hand.

'Keep an eye on her?'

Arthur nodded, moving so that I could lean down to kiss my boyfriend. He looked up at me, just as much love and admiration in his eyes as any other day.

'I love you more than anything.' He said softly, reaching up to hold my face.

'I love you more. Drive safe for me?' I said, more as a question.

'I always do.' He winked, flashing me one cocky smile before heading out onto the track.

'He's weirding me out.' Arthur grumbled, shaking his head, heading up to the balcony.

I grabbed a pair of headphones on the way up, putting them on my ears and preparing to listen for anything he needed for the rest of the race.

'What do you think is going on?' I asked, pulling the mic up so that anything I was to say would not be heard.

'I'm not sure. The house is looking beautiful. Everyone is well. He's racing fine, maybe he's just having an off day?' He questioned.

'This seems more than that.' I responded.

'Pass me the headphones. I miss listening to strategy.' He laughed, taking them from my head.

We watched the first 30 minutes of the race in absolute silence. Arthur liked to listen to every word being said, and occasionally throw in his own advice too, and I liked to watch over all of my boys.

The smile that had been sitting on Arthur's face since the second the race started began to disappear, holding his hands on his headphones to almost hear what was being said more.

'What? What's going on?' I asked slowly, looking out on the track and noticing noticing out of the ordinary.

'Nothing. Just, get off of the balcony for a second.' He mumbled? Grabbing my arm and pulling me back inside, out of view from anyone else.

I grabbed a pair of headphones from the side and put them on, annoyed he'd not told me what was happening already.

'Just hold tight, we'll get the message to her as soon as possible.' I heard someone say over the radio.

I heard a few murmured 'thank gods.' Through the headphones.

'Bella? Where were you? I was worried.' Charles said, his voice shaky.

'I'm sorry. Arthur was listening in to the strategies. What's wrong?' I asked, my heart threatening to beat out of my chest.

'Pierre is trying his best to get me out of this race.' Charles said, breathing heavily as he tried to focus on driving.

I looked up at the screen and sure enough there he was in second place, his driving seemingly extremely risky and not a single move he was making was actually legal.

'He'll get called into the pits soon just hold on.' I responded.

'It's not the pits I'm worried about. I'm going to fucking murder him when I'm out of this car.' Charles said angrily.

I looked over at his head mechanic, his hand hovering over the mute button, but I shook his head, telling him not yet.

'I know, but try and keep it calm Charles please. You don't want to hurt yourself.' I said softly.

'He's sabotaging what we have for what? money? To try and win you back when I'm dead?'

I told them to cut the stream to his mic, meaning we also couldn't hear him. But it had to be done.

'You've got approximately 5 minutes to get him out of that car before he has a freakout.' Arthur stated.

'Good job It's the last lap. He's in first, too, and nobody shows any sign of catching up.' I said, lowly so nobody else could hear me.

Charles did not park his car up for the ceremony, he did not remain out in the paddock for interviews. He ran straight inside and grabbed me with shaky hands, looking me all over.

'Charles what is going on?' I said, taking him to his drivers room and sitting him down on his bed, getting him a drink.

'Didn't you see his interview? Sabotaging your channel? He's trying to ruin your career and I'll do my absolute best to destroy his first.' He said angrily.

'What do you mean?' I asked slowly, my heart beginning to pound.

'He's opened up about your past, How you swore you'd never date a driver again and how our relationship is for the views. You've lost 300k in 4 hours.' He explained.

My heart absolutely dropped.

'He's done what.' I whispered.

'You need to tell everyone what he did.' He said, both hands on the side of my face.

'I can't.' I whispered.

'You have to. He decided to be the one to tell the world. He forgets you're loaded with everything that he did to you and he thinks you won't tell.' He explained.

'What's forced him to do this? I don't understand.'

'Nothing. Hes just a bad person and I'm going to kill him.' Charles mumbled.
