Mias POV:
Sex, nights in and family dinners consumed the next 3 months of our life. And it was today that I had my first drama filled day in a while. So let me tell you about it.

Arthur was staying with us for the week, the first week in a month that we'd had anyone else with us. We'd spent as much time as possible just us 2, enjoying our quiet time. I fell in love with Charles in so many ways that month, as it felt like we could experience life the way it will be when he left racing and I left my job.

Like normal people.

Charles was out for the day, at a photoshoot, and I was left to entertain his brother. But I didn't even want to get out of bed.

I felt so sick, for the third morning in a row.

We'd both stopped speaking about trying for a baby, Charles not wanting to jinx anything. But we were hoping for one. I had a pack of pregnancy tests in my drawer, just incase I ever needed them, and had taken one or two over the last month just to check. They'd all come back negative.

Arthur burst into the room staring at me in somewhat horror when he saw the unopened pack of tears in my hands.

'I need to stop doing that.' He said, cautiously taking a few steps towards me.

'Don't tell Charles yet.' I snapped.

'Bloody hell woman, you don't need to take that test I can tell you right now it'll be positive.' He said, hands in the air in defence.

He was right. I had been more emotional recently. But that could have been anything. I stood up, lifting my top up and looking at myself in the mirror.

'Do I look pregnant?' I asked him.

'I don't think there's a right answer to that question so I'll be quiet.' He whispered.

I was bloated, sure. Okay yes I was bloated. And as for my periods, they were irregular and hadn't had one for 5 months as it was.

I could never rely on my period schedule to hint I was pregnant.

'Do you want me here. Do you want me to call Danny?' He asked.

'Absolutely do not call my brother. You stay here, I'll go and take it.' I responded, getting up and walking slowly to the bathroom.

He sat awkwardly on the edge of the bed. Patting it, as if he had no idea what else to do.

I took the test, sitting on the edge of the bath as I waited. Arthur was silent. I wasn't sure if he really wanted to be there, and when I opened the door to check on him, he was furiously tapping on his phone.

'What are you doing?' I frowned.

'I'm blocking my brother on all social media.' He responded.

'What?'

'To physically stop myself from saying a word. When are you gonna tell him?' He asked.

'I've not even checked it yet.' I argued.

'You're bloated.' He responded.

'Thanks Arthur.' I rolled my eyes, walking back into the bathroom and picking up the test.

Everything my boyfriend's brother was saying to me became silence, as I read the words on the test.

Pregnant 2-3 months

'What. What does it say?' He asked, taking it from my hand, freaking out when he realised what end he'd touched.

He was just as silent as I was.
