Silver was waiting for Sonic and Shadow to show up. Having lunch together was Sonic's idea and he had practically forced Shadow and Silver to attend. Silver would have come anyway but he knew Shadow wouldn't have.

Silver wondered what exactly Sonic was doing this for. When he called he didn't sound too serious so it must be for fun... maybe.

There was knocking on the door and Silver got up immediately to answer it. He opened the door to see Shadow. "Hey, come in while we wait for Sonic," Silver said, inviting Shadow inside.

"He still isn't here? Isn't he supposed to be the fastest thing alive?" Shadow questioned, walking past Silver.

"It's Sonic. Probably just fashionably late." Silver said with a shrug, turning to Shadow.

"Do you know what this is about?" Shadow asked, sitting down on Silver's couch.

"No, probably not very serious knowing Sonic," Silver replied, shrugging again.

"It's probably about (y/n), (b/f/n), and (f/n)," Shadow said with a sigh.

Silver nodded. "I wouldn't doubt it. He seems pretty interested in them." Silver said, sitting down in an armchair to Shadow's left.

"What do you think of them?" Shadow asked.

Silver thought for a moment. "(F/n) is a more serious Sonic pretty much. (B/f/n) is kind of like Blaze with a mix of Amy and Rouge in personality. Then (y/n)... she's..." Silver trailed off.

Shadow looked at Silver with a questionable look. "Different?" Shadow suggested.

"I guess so, but she is just... a mystery," Silver said hesitantly.

"We haven't even known her for a week." Shadow said, "As she settles we'll probably get to know her better."

"She doesn't seem like the type to reveal her secrets." Silver admitted.

"That is true, but just because we hang out doesn't mean we have to know each other's secrets," Shadow explained.

There was a quick knocking on the door and Silver got up to answer, Shadow following behind. Silver opened the door to see Sonic.

"Are we ready to go?" Sonic asked with a cheery tone.

"Sure," Silver replied. Sonic led the way out of Silver's house and began walking down the street to the restaurant nearby.

"What is this about?" Shadow asked Sonic.

"What's what about?" Sonic said, turning around and walking backwards.

"This lunch. We have never done this, nor did I think we ever would." Shadow snarled.

"Oh! Well, I was thinking we'd discuss a few Mobians." Sonic said, thinking he was sounding cryptic.

"You mean (y/n), (b/f/n) and (f/n) don't you?" Silver said, coming up into step with Shadow, who was walking behind Sonic.

Sonic chuckled oddly. "Maybe," Sonic continued to walk backward with his hands behind his head.

"What is there to discuss?" Shadow asked.

"Lots! Lots and lots!" Sonic replied enthusiastically.

"Such as?" Silver deadpanned, getting bored of the conversation.

"We'll figure it out when we get there!" Sonic said, then turning around to walk normally, most likely hoping to avoid any more questions.

After a few minutes of silence, they were nearing the restaurant. They went inside and sat at an empty booth.

After they ordered it was silent once again. This meeting is going great.

"Alright, Sonic, what do you think of the trio?" Shadow asked, breaking the uncomfortable silence.

"I like (f/n), he seems like a fun guy. (B/f/n) seems a bit tempered but she seems nice. Then (y/n) is quiet and honest." Sonic described all three in his description. "And you two?"

"Well, (f/n) seems like a smarter version of you. (B/f/n), I agree, is a bit tempered. And (y/n) has secrets." Silver described them in his description as well.

"Hey! I'm smarter than (f/n)!" Sonic defended himself.

"I agree with Silver, though I'd prefer you over him, he is definitely smarter." Shadow chimed in.

"What do you think of them Shadow? You've probably spent more time with them." Silver said, putting Sonic's attention on Shadow.

"(B/f/n) is sort of a less gullible and stupid Knuckles but she still has the temper," Shadow said with a shrug.

"I could agree with that," Sonic said, while Silver frowned.

"That's a bit mean to Knuckles." Silver stated.

"But we all know it's true so why lie?" Shadow replied to Silver.

"Anyway, what about (y/n)? What do you think of her?" Sonic asked curiously.

Shadow paused and thought for a long time, so long Silver wasn't sure he had heard Sonic "(Y/n) is fine," Shadow said finally.

Sonic seemed disappointed "And?" Sonic tried.

"And she's a good fighter." Shadow strained.

"And?" Sonic continued to push.

"And I met her a week ago and barely know her," Shadow responded.

"Come on! There must be more Shadow. Just try!" Sonic encouraged.

Shadow shrugged. "She isn't that talkative and focuses on what we're supposed to do."

"Is that it? No other opinions on her?" Sonic questioned skeptically.

"Sonic, he's only known her a week. What do you expect?" Silver defended Shadow.

"Still! Shadow, do you think she's good?" Sonic continued asking Shadow questions about (y/n).

"I haven't time to get to know her on a personal level. But as for work, I believe she will do very well." Shadow snarled, Silver could tell he was beginning to get agitated by Sonic.

"I think you two will get to be close friends," Sonic mumbled, Silver heard it but he didn't think Shadow heard it, or he was ignoring him.

"Well, I think the three will become great friends of ours," Silver said, trying to break the tension between the other hedgehogs.

"I agree!" Sonic said, turning to Silver with a thumbs up.

"Not all of them. (Y/n) mentioned to me that she was sure (b/f/n) and Amy would but-heads." Shadow commented.

"Oh? Why?" Silver asked.

"She said it would most likely be about fashion and which of their boyfriends are smarter or funnier," Shadow explained.

Sonic laughed. "You can't expect much more from Amy!" He laughed.

Silver's phone began to vibrate. He picked it up and answered the call from Blaze. "Hey Blaze, what's up?"

"I need you to pick me up from the Café a few blocks away from G.U.N.," She said immediately.

"Oh? Why? I thought you were having coffee with (y/n)?" Silver questioned. Sonic gave Silver a questioning look.

"Yeah, well she revealed some information to me that I need to process," Blaze replied her voice shaking slightly.

"Oh, what did she say?" Silver asked.

Another voice said something in the background. "She'd rather me not tell you. She'd prefer to tell you herself." Blaze said. "But believe me. It's not something you want to hear."
