"It was a mission and that (e/a/t) came out of nowhere and was only attacking (y/n). She didn't care that I was there." Shadow explained angrily.
"Well you coulda fucking helped her asshole!" (B/f/n) shouted angrily. (F/n)'s frown formed into a look of concern as (b/f/n) went into Shadow's face.
"(B/f/n), relax. (Y/n) was pissed and probably wants a break from us." (F/n) said carefully, placing a gentle hand on (b/f/n)'s shoulder.
"And I did help her, I assumed she could handle herself against the (e/a/t) while I kept the (s/f/c) (a/t) from dying," Shadow explained, his voice a little less angry than before.
(B/f/n) glanced at the (s/e/c)-eyed (a/t) tapping her foot nervously while staring at the medical room.
"Are you sure we can trust her? What if she's just pretending to know (y/n)?" (B/f/n) whispered to (f/n) and Shadow.
"I doubt it, (y/n) probably knows half of Station Square, and probably gets along with most of them." (f/n) told them.
Shadow raised his eyebrows. "Really? She doesn't seem like the type to know people."
"Everyone likes her for whatever reason." (f/n) said with a shrug.
Then a green echidna —Dr. Puny— came out of the medical room with (y/n) behind him.
"(y/n)!" (b/f/n) yelled, going over and grabbing her hands while blocking her view of the (s/f/c) (a/t). "What the fuck were you thinking? Only you and Shadow out there? You could've been killed!"
"Calm down (b/f/n), I didn't die. And I'm fine, just a scratch." (y/n) reassures.
"So it is you?" the other (a/t) asked. (B/f/n) stepped away from (y/n) to look back at the (s/f/c) (a/t) with disdain.
"(B/f/n), let them figure it out." (F/n) commanded. Reluctantly (b/f/n) stepped back next to (f/n) to let the (a/t)s talk.
(Y/n)
(Y/n) stared into (s/n)'s eyes, twining to her own, yet they were less shiny.
(S/n) seemed to be at a loss for words, (y/n) felt the same. She never thought she'd see (s/n) ever again.
"Hey... uh... (n/n)? That's what the family calls you." (S/n) began awkwardly.
"They call me that." (Y/n) confirmed. "But I didn't say you could call me that. What are you doing here?"
(S/n) hunched her shoulders. There was another long pause in the conversation.
"I-" (s/n) tried, "I- well- why didn't you try and find me?"
"Why didn't I try and find you?" (Y/n) growled. "I was 12! You have no idea what it was like!"
"What are you talking about? I went there and saw them. All of them! Don't try and victimize yourself!" (S/n) yelled.
"You saw them. I heard it. We hadn't seen you in a year! I didn't think you'd ever come back." (Y/n) admitted.
"How could you ever think that? You are my family! I got busy, alright?" (S/n) yelled.
"You never called," (y/n) accused, "the night we fought, I thought that would be the last time I saw you. And I believed it when we didn't see you for a year!"
"Like I said! I got busy!" (S/n) snapped back.
"Too busy to care about your family?" (Y/n) asked quietly. That made (s/n) shut up.
The entire room was quiet. Shadow's face was concerned but disguised as calculating. (f/n) was nervous and leaning from one foot to the other. (b/f/n) looked furious and seconds away from exploding. Then Puny looked sorrowful.
(Y/n) looked back at (s/n) to see her with an impatient expression. She's waiting for an apology. (Y/n) realized.
(Y/n) crossed her arms. She knew (s/n) should apologize for that fight. But there is some stuff (y/n) should apologize for as well, she just wanted the apology to be deserved.
But (s/n) didn't give in. She continued with her impatient face. (Y/n) felt unwanted guilt bubbling up inside her.
"Somebody say something," (b/f/n) grumbled, breaking the tense silence. "You two know each other, sisters I assume. You two fought a few years ago and for whatever reason, it made you two stop talking. And what about the 'she saw it but you heard it' business? What's going on there?"
The silence lasted a little longer before (y/n) decided to explain. "Yes, this is my sister (s/n). And we fought 7 years ago and I haven't seen her since then. Then ask (f/n) about the last bit." (Y/n)'s voice came out hoarse on the last part. No one seemed to notice, except Shadow, who looked at her with a calculating stare.
(F/n) chuckled nervously. "Why do you always put the pressure on me (y/n)?"
(Y/n) responded with a "you know why" glare, that (f/n) immediately understood.
"You know, (s/n) was it? It may be better for you to just leave, let Miss (y/n) recuperate then you can talk to her after, hm?" Puny suggested. His voice was kind and gentle.
(S/n) sighed. "Fine, but (y/n) we have to talk, no more ignoring me, it's time we figure out this part of our lives."
(Y/n) nodded, (s/n) nodded back then slipped out the door.
"So that's who (s/n) is? A sister that pissed you off 7 years ago?" (F/n) sneered.
"It's more than just being mad at her (f/n)." (Y/n) told him.
"You are reckless, (y/n), you know that?" (B/f/n) told her.
(Y/n) shrugged. "I'll fight till I die." She said simply.
