     Everyone was sitting or lying on the ground except for Shadow, who paced back and forth. They all seemed to be waiting for something, but the only thing to wait for was (y/n).

     "Can someone please explain what happened?" (E/n) asked, crouched next to Hasheem.

     Shadow stopped pacing as (f/n) volunteered. "Do you two remember attacking Ebony?" They shook their heads, "You did and we showed up and fought you away."

     "Is that where this cut on my face came from?" Hasheem asked, (f/n) nodded, "It was Leader, I know it was."

     "You mean Mephiles," Shadow corrected, "he took (y/n) and used you two to keep her captive."

     "I remember talking to her from our own cell," (e/n) rasped, "I remember this Mephiles approaching us and that's all I remember."

     "Your eyes were green," Chime commented, "they aren't now, but they were."

     Hasheem snorted. "So Mephiles used magical powers to take control of us? Likely."

     "So what're you saying?" (B/f/n) asked, "Were you working with Mephiles of your own free will?"

     "Of course not!" (E/n) snapped, "He threatened our lives! I would never work with him by choice!"

     Hasheem laid one of his wings across her/his back, signalling her/him to calm down. "(E/n) is right," he stated, "I did it before for the sake of my life, but I would never again let myself be manipulated that way."

     "Do you have any idea where (y/n) is?" Chime asked, "Think, just anythin' you might know."

     (E/n) scowled at her. "Did you not hear me?" She/he growled, "We were talking to her from our cell, she is in one of the cells!"

     Chime shook her head. "I looked in every cell in there, if she was 'ere, she isn't anymore."

     "We can't just give up," (f/n) exclaimed, "we have to look for her!"

     Shadow nodded. "Right, Hasheem, you, and I can search around this area, (e/n), (b/f/n), and Chime can check further out, send one of us a text if you find her."

     Hasheem pushed himself to his feet, the others doing the same. They split into their groups and began searching for (y/n).

Silver

     Sonic smashed the last badnik and the battle was finished. "Gah! I'll get you next time rodents!" Dr. Eggman yelled from his Eggmobile.

     Sonic ignored him and joined the others. "Well that was fun but I'm ready to go home."

     Everyone agreed. "Yeah, we gotta see if they found (y/n)!" Tails said optimistically.

     The group began walking away but Silver stopped abruptly. "Does something feel different to you guys?"

     Blaze nodded hesitantly. "Yes, I'm not sure what it is though," she stated, "What about you?"

     Amy and Tails nodded as Blaze turned to them. "Really weird feeling, kinda like we lost something."

     Sonic shrugged breezily. "Let's figure it out when we get back, alright?"

     Everyone agreed, Silver a bit more reluctantly, but they were on their way again.
