     The figure and the intruder jumped from rooftop to rooftop, following the giant owl and the (e/a/t) behind him. Hasheem and (e/n). Never apart from one another. The inseparable team. The supposedly unstoppable team. Everybody wished to have a bond like those two, to have the communication they had. Despite how close (f/n) and (b/f/n) had been, they were now falling apart. Even Shadow and (y/n) who had been such a great duo were splitting apart from one another. It seemed nobody would outlive the bond between Hasheem and (e/n).

     Hasheem and (e/n) dove through a hole in the side of the building, and the intruder and the figure followed, just instead of landing on the ground with the other two, they swung up and silently landed on the rafters.

     "Do you think they'll spot us?" The intruder whispered, "I mean, they are quite intelligent, they'll know if someone is watching them, won't they?"

     "They will if you don't shut up!" The figure hissed back, "Now pay attention!"

     Hasheem and the shadowy figure referred to as Leader exchanged a few words before Hasheem and (e/n) were thrown across the room into cells.

     Leader exchanged a few more words with them before teleporting away. The figure narrowed its eyes and then jumped to the ground in front of Hasheem and (e/n)'s cell.

     "What are you doing?" The intruder screeched, "You said we had to be careful!"

     "Who are you?" (E/n) demanded immediately, "Where did you come from? Why didn't you help? I swear I'll kill you!"

     "I'd like to see you try," the figure said teasingly, "from what I see, you're the one in the cell, not me."

     "Answer her/his questions," Hasheem cut in, "could you help us? We have to warn (y/n)."

     The figure stared at the imprisoned couple before turning away and beginning to walk away.

     "Wait! Please! Help us!" Hasheem pleaded he turned to the intruder, "Please! Let us out!"

     "Don't." The figure hissed before the intruder could move, "This is the natural course of events and it must not be changed. We have a job to do, let's keep looking."

     The figure continued walking, the intruder looked between the owl and (e/a/t) and then to the figure, he sighed and followed behind the figure, leaving Hasheem and (e/n) shrieking behind him.

     Ring ring ring!
     Ignore.
     Ring ring ring!
     Ignore.
     Ring ring ring!
     Silent.
     Endless calls from who knows who. (Y/n) didn't have the energy to check. She wanted to go back to sleep. She had woken up earlier than usual and decided she wasn't ready to talk everything through with Shadow. So she left for Tails' workshop, she texted (s/n) to meet her there, to which she replied with a thumbs up.

     (Y/n) wasn't supposed to be alone in Station Square, but she had gotten tired of rarely having a moment to herself. It was early morning so the streets were bare, besides the occasional homeless folk.

     She easily made it to Tails' workshop to find (s/n) waiting, looking quite miserable.

     Her eyelids drooped and her (s/f/c) fur/feathers/scales were dull and messy(if it's fur/feathers). She was slouched over unlike her usual professional stance and she slowly walked over to (y/n) once she spotted her.
