Gunner was here. In Station Square. Hurting innocent (a/t)s. (y/n) knew he wasn't after her since he didn't know she existed, but that didn't stop the thought from coming to her head.
"Alright, you two, I've got (f/n) as the guy to contact if things get out of hand. Off you go, good luck." Commander said, waving Shadow and (y/n) out of his office.
(y/n) followed Shadow out of the office in deep thought. Shadow looked back at her. "Are you ok? Did you know the guy?"
(y/n) sighed shakily. "I'm afraid so," (y/n) walked faster to be in step with Shadow, "listen, he is dangerous. Be careful, he's unpredictable."
"You knew him personally?" Shadow questioned.
(y/n) shook her head. "He killed some people I used to know." (y/n) decided to not specify exactly who Gunner had killed to avoid emotions.
Shadow glanced at (y/n), she didn't know what kind of glance. Sympathy? Concern? Worry? Pity? Disgust?
The two reached the garage where all the motorcycles were held. Shadow got onto his and (y/n) got onto hers and the two drove off to Dunbar.
They arrived at Dunbar 30 minutes later. A silvery blue wolf with yellow eyes was outside talking to a white wolf with purple eyes. The silvery wolf looked at Shadow and (y/n) and her face lit up.
"(Y/n)! I haven't seen you in years! Where have you been?" The silvery wolf asked running up and hugging (y/n) tightly.
"Err... Frosty, right?" (Y/n) asked quizzically.
"Yup! Have I really changed that much?" Frosty asked, letting go of (y/n).
"You used to be more blue than silver. Are you working here?" (Y/n) asked.
"All our cousins are! Oh! And that over there is my girlfriend Snowy." Frosty announced.
"Good for you. Do you mean everyone? Including (s/n)?" (Y/n) asked, she began walking toward the bar with Frosty next to her. (Y/n) beckoned a frowning Shadow to follow.
"No, (s/n) and your boyfriend are the only ones not working here," Frosty explained.
"Shadow is not my boyfriend." (Y/n) snapped. "We're working, do you have a brown bear coming around?"
"A brown bear? We do, he's not very nice to the other customers. Mostly the (a/t)s. It's kinda scary when the entire bar is run by (a/t)s." Frosty admitted.
"Well could you tell me or Shadow when he comes in?" (Y/n) asked as they entered the bar, the white wolf —Snowy— behind them.
"Sure! Go to Flame, he's got every regular memorized." Frosty told them. "We gotta go, good luck!"
Shadow looked at (y/n) once Frosty and Snowy were out of earshot. "Explain."
"Frosty is my cousin. Loud and annoying a lot, but she's really sweet, and Flame is her brother. He's over there." (Y/n) pointed to a tall handsome red wolf with yellow leaning on the bar looking at his phone.
"I was thinking we'd go to Dunbar first." Shadow admitted.
(Y/n) shook her head. "He runs the place, but he handles the money and lets his kids, nieces and nephews handle the actual bar work. And he isn't the only owner, all my aunt and uncles own this place, it was just Dunbar's idea." (Y/n) explained.
"So he wouldn't have any useful info on Gunner." Shadow said, (y/n) nodded, "Then I guess Flame would be the best decision."
Shadow leads the way over to Flame. He heard them approaching and looked up from his phone and his face lit up.
"(N/n)! I haven't seen you in months! How have you been?" Flame asked putting his phone in his pocket. (Y/n) saw he had been texting someone.
"I've been alright. Listen, have you seen a brown bear around here?" (Y/n) asked, getting straight to the point.
"Brown bear? You mean Gunner? I've seen him every night for the past 8 months. Why?" Flame asked.
"What has he done?" Shadow asked before (y/n) could ask.
"What has he done? A lot. (N/n) can I trust this guy?" Flame asked, looking at (y/n).
(Y/n) shrugged. "He hasn't done anything incriminating so I think we can trust him." Shadow glared at (y/n) slightly.
"Alright. Well let's see... he's tried to attack Salem twice, Ash 5 times, Frosty 6 times, and he seems to be aiming for Arlene. And he has fought with almost everyone who works here. And that isn't even counting customers. We've almost called the police on him a couple times." Flame explained counting with his fingers.
"Sounds like our guy," Shadow muttered.
"And," Flame continued, "he's had a lot to say about a certain (b/f/c) (a/t)."
(Y/n) felt anger sweep through her body. Gunner had killed (b/n), and now he was insulting him. If they were ever assigned to attack him, (y/n) wouldn't go easy.
"I know, Rotor wants to kill him once it's legal." Flame sighed. "He'll be here in around 15 minutes."
"Tell us any info you can gather on him," Shadow said.
Flame glared at Shadow, "I don't take orders. Even if they are from famous hedgehogs."
Shadow glared back at Flame. (Y/n) rolled her eyes at the two, "Really mature guys," she snarled.
"Maybe you should try and teach him some manners." Flame growled, still glaring at Shadow.
"Not my job. If it affects the job, possibly, but it doesn't." (Y/n) said with a shrug.
Shadow looked away from Flame and looked at (y/n). "Is this guy really our only option?"
"He's probably the only one who pays attention to the records of all the customers. He's our best bet of finding Gunner." (Y/n) said, "stop being childish and deal with it."
"Speaking of Gunner," Flame gestured to the door. Shadow and (y/n) looked over and saw Gunner in the doorway.
