One year later...

     It's almost as if (y/n) was never there. Her name was mentioned here and there but no one was striving to find her like before.

     Some of them changed, others didn't, some more than others, relationships changed, and some stayed the same. Things were different, but no one could decide if it was for the better or worse.

(F/n)

     "(B/f/n)! Where did you put the-"

     "Keys? On the counter next to the salt."

     (F/n) walked into the kitchen and promptly picked up the keys. "Thanks, honey!"

Sonic

     Sonic smashed the last robot on the battlefield as Eggman sped away in his Eggmobile.

     "Another win, Sonic!" Tails cheered from above, landing next to Sonic.

     "Well fought," Knuckles commented, walking up to Sonic's other side.

     "And I look forward to the next fight!" Sonic exclaimed, "Bring it on Eggman!"

(E/n)

     The target crept about below them. (E/n) moved forward more and hopped down a level to get closer to the target.

     The target didn't suspect a thing, he continued trying to light his cigarette, growling lightly as he failed over and over again.

     (E/n) leaned down and easily glided down silently toward the target.

     He still hadn't noticed her/him and she/he leaned forward to whisper in his ear. "Boo."

     The target whipped around to (e/n) but she/he was already sinking her/his weapon into his chest, slowly killing him.

     "Lovely," Hasheem stated, landing on the ground next to (e/n), "Let's get this murderer back to our client and get the cash."

(S/n)

     "Want some coffee before you head off?" (S/n) asked, turning to Hibiscus with a to-go-mug full of black coffee.

     Hibiscus smiled at her and took it from her. "Thanks," he kissed her on the cheek before opening the door, "Love you, see you tonight."

     "Love you too!" (S/n) called back before he closed the door.

Senile

     "Zinc, Akela, Caliber, and Snowy! Get up! We've got a bar to run!"

     The four (a/t)s jumped out of their chairs and rushed out to the bar, giving Senile a good laugh.

     "We've made more money than ever this year!" Dunbar cheered, approaching Senile.

     "That's great," Senile agreed, "but if we're gonna keep this place running, we need more workers."

     "Don't worry! I've got it all covered," Dun-bar assured, "just stop panicking for a minute and admire the work we've accomplished!"

     Senile sighed then smiled at Dunbar. "You're right, thanks." Senile turned around and muttered to himself, "If only (d/n) and (y/n) were here to see it."
