     Shadow narrowed his eyes at Chime. "What are you talking about?" He asked, "Mephiles died with Solaris years ago."

     "That's what we thought," Amy said stepping to Chime's side, "but we were wrong."

     Zinc rolled her eyes. "Very interesting and all, but none of us know who Mephiles means," she snarled, "can't we worry about him later? Focus on current problems?"

     "He is involved in the problems we're havin' now," Chime snapped, "can't you see what has happened?"

     "Who is Mephiles?" Senile asked, quickly taking full control of the situation, "And what does he have to do with (y/n)?"

     "Mephiles is one half of the Sun god Solaris, we defeated him a long time ago," Shadow explained, "although it might be possible he could have escaped in the last moment, I don't think he would've waited this long to attack us."

     "Who knows with Mephiles," Amy said, "he's always had something up his sleeve."

     Flame nodded slightly. "Alright, but what does this have to do with (y/n)? Right now, we have to focus on defeating Leader."

     "Can't you see?" Chime cried, her grip on Shadow's arms tightening, "Mephiles is Leader!"

     "So half of a Sun god is after (y/n)?" (B/f/n) asked skeptically, "Why? No offence to her, but she's nothing special."

     "Besides what (s/n) said about her," Shadow muttered, "he's probably after her so they can create the most powerful beings this world has seen."

     "Exactly!" Chime said, "I was hidin'  in that lab for 8 years, I've read all those journals."

     Shadow pulled out of Chime's death grip. "We have to find (y/n) immediately," he said, "if Mephiles finds her I'm not sure if we'll be able to find her."

"It's too late."

Shadow's ears pricked at the sound of (b/n)'s voice. What do you mean?

     As if (b/n) had heard him, he stepped into Shadow's line of vision. "I wanted to help her so badly, I'm sorry."

     Senile frowned at Shadow, noticing his new behaviour. "What is it?" He asked, "Do you hear something?"

     "I don't hear anything," Chime added.

     "Me either," Amy agreed.

     "Shadow?" (B/f/n) said gently, "Are you okay?"

     (B/n) looked worriedly at Shadow. "Mephiles has (y/n)." They both said, Shadow's words came out more questioning, while (b/n)'s were hesitant and pained.

     Senile froze for a second before his eyes filled with fury. "What?"

     "There's no way you could know that, Shadow." Amy pointed out, "Let's not worry and just find her."

     "No." Shadow snarled, "He has her, call Sonic and Silver, tell them to meet us at Tails' workshop."

     Shadow walked towards the door. "Wait!" Zinc snapped at him, "How do you know all this?"

     "Don't tell her," (b/n) warned at his side, "she'll get angry, yell, scream, and everyone will ask questions. Just save (y/n)."

     Shadow turned his head to look at Zinc. "I'll explain later, just do it."
