(A/t): Animal Type"Who is that guy?" Silver asked (f/n), "and why is he here? How does he know about this place?"
(F/n) frowned at the moved bookshelf. "I have no idea, but it's nothing good I'm sure."
"Should we follow him?" Silver asked, "Probably not a good idea, but what if he caught the others off-guard?"
(F/n) trained his ears and listened closely, for any small sound to indicate anything. But he heard nothing. (F/n) sighed. "Let's get closer," he decided, "I can't hear anything, if we hear anything bad, we attack. Alright?"
Silver nodded, determined. (F/n) nodded back and he led himself and Silver towards the bookshelf, and into the hallway below.
(Y/n)
(Y/n) felt anger seeping through her. Gunner? Why was he here? He had no business being here, did he throw away their bodies?
The coyote —Chime— walked up to Gunner, curiosity in her light green eyes. "Kill? Why? Who is it? What'd they do?"
(Y/n) and (s/n) looked at each other, both with equally confused faces. Why is she so eager?
(Y/n) also had the thought of: This is the immortal coyote? Doesn't seem like much.
"Calm down coyote!" Gunner snapped at Chime, she shut up fairly quickly but she looked offended, "I want ya to kill a couple (a/t)s."
Chime tilted her head. "Why? Who are they?" She asked curiously, "What do they look like? How do ya want me to kill 'em?"
Gunner growled and pushed Chime away by her face. "Shut up! One question at a time!" He yelled at her, "I want them dead so I can finish a job!"
(Y/n) glanced at (s/n) again and they nodded in agreement, Gunner was most likely talking about the sisters.
Chime made a face of realization. "You want me to kill the other kid?" She asked, "Well I doubt she'll be 'round 'ere anymore."
"She is!" Gunner snapped, "She spends quite a lotta time around a hedgehog who works at G.U.N. She also spends lots of time at Dunbar."
"And what about the other (a/t)?" Chime asked, "whozzat? Close friend 'er somethin'?"
Gunner narrowed his eyes at Chime. "Why don't you mind your own goddamn business and do what you're told!"
Suddenly, (y/n)'s G.U.N communicator began ringing and her eyes dilated as she tried to shut it off.
Gunner and Chime's heads snapped up, looking around to find the source of the noise.
"Somebody else is here!" Chime yelled, "Where are you? Show yourself!"
Gunner shook his head with a scowl on his face. "Turn on the poison gas, kill them all." He said, "Don't leave until all of them are dead."
Chime nodded as Gunner began leaving. Chime smirked as she pulled out a small button.
Just as Chime heard Gunner put the bookshelf in place, Chime was about to press the button until (y/n) jumped off the cupboards and tackled the coyote to the ground.
(Y/n) quickly smacked the button away and it slid across the floor. Chime head-butted (y/n) and slipped away from her. (Y/n) quickly gave chase and smashed the coyote's face into the tiled floor. "(S/n)! Get down and find Shadow so we can get the hell outta here!"
(S/n) quickly jumped from the cupboards with no hesitation and darted down the hallway.
"Ha! You're the ones I gotta kill aren't you!" Chime squealed gleefully, twisting in (y/n)'s grasp and elbowing her in the stomach.
(Y/n) fell away before quickly grabbing Chime again, but she expected it this time as she turned and pinned (y/n) to the floor and wrapped her hands around (y/n)'s throat. "Not my preferred choice of murder, but painful nonetheless!"
Shadow
Shadow was running at the door and shouldering it with unspeakable power but it wouldn't budge. Shadow was about to try again when he saw (s/n) on the other side.
"Shadow! How do I get you out?" She asked frantically, "This door is weird! It doesn't have a handle!"
"Probably a key or a code." Shadow said, "That girl probably has it, get it off of her!"
(S/n) shook her head and pulled a key from her hand. "I hope this works!" She said as she began inserting the key into the door, "I found it on top of the cupboards!"
A moment passed and the door opened slightly. Shadow immediately pushed it open and darted down the hallway, (s/n) close behind him.
Shadow reached the main room and saw the figure from before —who he can see now is a coyote— choking (y/n) on the ground with a sinister expression.
Shadow ran towards them and punched the coyote away from (y/n). The coyote went flying and smashed into the far wall. Shadow kneeled next to (y/n) and began to help her up before he heard the coyote laughing.
"You think you can stop me so easily?" The coyote cackled, "I will never be down for long, hedgehog."
"This might knock you down for a while though." (Y/n) said, Shadow looked at her. She was holding up her gun, she pointed it at the coyote and pulled the trigger.
(Y/n)
The gun was loud, louder than usual. Maybe it was because (y/n) felt half dead since Chime had been choking her. But the gunshot was surprisingly loud to her ears. (Y/n) vision was also a bit blurry as well.
(Y/n) felt someone's arm wrap around her and begin pulling her to her feet. (y/n) looked at saw it was Shadow, she leaned into him slightly and he pulled her closer.
Shadow wasn't looking at (y/n), but where she had aimed her gun. (Y/n) looked over and she saw she had shot Chime in the chest, possibly the heart.
(S/n) came into (y/n)'s other side and she looked horrified. "You killed her." Was all (s/n) said.
"No," (y/n) said, her slightly blurry vision clearing, "I didn't kill her." (Y/n) began to lean away from Shadow.
"I don't think so (y/n)," Shadow commented, "She looks pretty-" Shadow was interrupted by Chime gasping for air and then bursting out in laughter.
"I don't die, you idiots!" Chime laughed, "I'll be healed in the day! You'll be dead by tomorrow night!"
"What the fuck?" (S/n) breathed, she sounded utterly horrified. (Y/n) stood up completely on her own and began walking towards the coyote.
"I don't die so easily either." (Y/n) said, "And I don't think you want to be helping Gunner." (Y/n) swung her foot up and kicked Chime in the side of the head, quickly knocking her out.
(Y/n) turned to face the other two. "Shadow, grab her. She should be locked in a cell rather than trying to kill us. And (s/n), do you still have the sheet of paper you found in the journal?"
Shadow nodded and quickly picked up Chime and held her bridle-style. "Yeah, I still have it." (S/n) replied, "Why?"
(Y/n) almost could've smirked at (s/n). "The journal said Chime was immortal. It also said dad was working on a cure," (y/n) said, "and we're gonna see if it works."
