     What the hell is wrong with me? I should've said something! Shadow screamed at himself internally.

     Shadow had been able to stay reserved around (y/n), but it was becoming harder to only treat her as a friend. Chime has noticed, (f/n) was beginning to notice, everyone wants them to be together. But Shadow didn't know how (y/n) felt about him! For all he knew she could see him as only a work partner and not an actual acquaintance!

     They walked into the main lobby of the medical wing and found (f/n), Silver, Sonic, and Scourge. Sonic and Scourge were bickering while (f/n) and Silver were talking to one another in hushed voices. There were a few other mobians inside, supposedly waiting for news on their friends or family.

     (F/n) and Silver immediately noticed Shadow, (y/n), and (s/n) enter and stood up to meet them in the middle of the room, Scourge and Sonic quickly following once they noticed.

     "Well? Is she still immortal?" (F/n) questioned once he reached the trio.

(S/n) shook her head. "We've got to make this immortality potion thing first." She explained.

     (S/n) was about to continue but (f/n) interrupted. "I wasn't asking you, (y/n)?"

     (Y/n) gave (f/n) a look Shadow didn't recognize then nodded to (s/n) to continue.

     (S/n) gave (y/n) a small smile before she continued. "As I was saying, we need the ingredients to the cure and we've decided to let Chime do it."

     Silver raised his eyebrows skeptically. "Chime? That isn't safe, she's trying to kill you two."

     "That's what I said," Shadow agreed, "but she promised she wouldn't try and kill them."

     "What reasoning do we have to trust her again?" (F/n) asked sarcastically, "That's right! Nothing! No reason you trust her!"

     "Sorry, sorry, not like me to say this, but slow down," Sonic interjected, "I'm confused, who is Chime?"

     Scourge nodded. "Catch us up on what's happening before you start rambling about cures to immortality."

     (Y/n) glanced around for a moment. "Let's go to my apartment, I'll explain on the way."

     "Lemme get this straight, this immortal coyote tried to kill you, then you decided to let her find ingredients to a cure thingy that might not work?" Sonic clarified, (y/n) gave a small nod, "Smart, real smart."

     "What other choice did we have?" (Y/n) asked rhetorically, "Not like we have extra hands."

     "Well, why don't you pull out another sibling?" Scourge suggested sarcastically, "I'm sure you got a nicer one around somewhere."

     (S/n) rolled her eyes. "We haven't talked in a few years, alright?" She sighed, "(y/n) wasn't exactly fond of me."

     (Y/n)'s head turned towards (s/n) slightly. "A few years? Six years seems like more than a few." She commented, "And you thought I was dead so resentment built up over the years."

     "Well, I guess I sorta knew you had a sister, but it seemed like you hated her, what changed?" (F/n) asked, frowning at (s/n).

     "We're working on it, alright?" (S/n) sighed, facepalming, "And I'd expect you to be mad about Chime!"
