Shadow was listening to music while lying on his bed. (Y/n) had disappeared into her bathroom for a long time.

The wind whistled and blew towards two figures standing on a building across from G.U.N, with a perfect view into Shadow and (y/n)'s rooms.

One leaned against the railing while the other stood back with her arms crossed. "What's the point of this?" She asked.

"I'm not entirely sure." The other figure admitted, not looking at her. "There's something that's been drawing me towards her lately."

"Is it him?" The female figure asked, stepping up next to the taller of the two. "He does have an intimidating look, but he isn't that bad."

The taller figure chuckled. "Sounds a lot like (y/n)." He joked. "She never did have a sweet face."

The female harrumphed quietly and leaned on the railing next to her companion. The two watched as (y/n) finally exited the bathroom and left her apartment.

"Where's she going?" The male asked, trying to sound nonchalant, but ultimately failing miserably.

"Lunch with (s/n), not so sure she's happy about it." The female admitted as (y/n) quickly drove out of the G.U.N garage on a motorcycle heading down the road.

"I couldn't name a time in my life where they didn't fight." The male admitted with a quiet laugh.

The female frowned and looked at her colleague. "I hope we weren't spying on her to walk down memory lane." She snarled.

The male finally looked at her. "Yeah, I've been oddly drawn to Shadow." He admitted.

"Is that your way of telling me you think he's hot?" The female asked in a deadly serious tone that made her companion laugh.

Once he got his laughter under control he answered, "Not in that way, I mean in a way as if I could talk to him."

The female crunched her nose in confusion. "Maybe it's his link with you-know-who." She suggested.

"I don't think so, I have nothing to do with that situation and she's off stalking other family members of hers." The male explained. "Maybe I should try to talk to him, anything to spice up the afterlife."

(S/n)

She paced in front of the restaurant called (r/r). Her anxiety continued to build as the rumbling of a motorcycle quickly approached.

The motorcycle stopped in front of her and (y/n) got off. "Is it that much of a surprise that I came?"

(S/n) frowned in confusion. "What're you talking about?" She asked, he voice cracking.

(Y/n) rolled her eyes. "Never mind, fix your face and let's go." She went past (s/n) into the restaurant, (s/n) following close behind.

(S/n) noticed (y/n) briefly acknowledging almost every mobian they walked by. "You must know all of Station Square." (S/n) commented.

(Y/n) shrugged. "Most of it." (Y/n) didn't turn around to talk to (s/n). She has changed a lot. (S/n) observed.

They sat down at a table and it became awkwardly silent between them.

"I-" both of them began at the same time before cutting themselves off.

(Y/n) flicked her ears back and looked away briefly. "You go first." She mumbled, just loud enough for (s/n) to hear.
