(A/t): Animal Type(Y/n) wasn't sure how (b/f/n) and (e/n) would get along, but she was sure it would be amusing.
But so far, it was boring. (B/f/n) and (e/n) were silent and entertaining themselves on opposite sides of the room as (y/n) read (f/b).
(Y/n) sighed. (B/f/n) looked up from the puzzle she was doing. "You alright?" She questioned.
(E/n) looked up from her/his phone, she/he looked annoyed. Hasheem had practically begged (e/n) to help and she/he had reluctantly agreed to help.
(Y/n) shrugged. "Just bored, nothing to do." She grumbled, scanning the room.
(E/n) sat up from her/his chair. "What do you want to do then?" She/he asked, "Please, nothing too exciting, you're friends aren't very nice in a fight."
The room was silent for a moment. "How do you and (f/n) know each other?" (B/f/n) asked.
(E/n) sighed tiredly, flipping her/his phone over on the coffee table. "Well, you're in for a story."
Shadow
Shadow walked into a training area. He didn't plan on training though, he was looking for (f/n). A few mobians were practicing but none of them were (f/n). Shadow proceeded into a more office-like room where he spotted (f/n).
(F/n) was the only mobian in the room and he was working silently on a bomb-looking device.
Shadow silently walked up to (f/n) and observed his work. He was doing wiring inside of the device the Shadow didn't recognize.
"What are you working on?" Shadow asked (f/n), "Is it a bomb?"
"Yup," (f/n) replied, "my sister asked for one for a mission. Tails gave me the bomb from the party and I dissected it and I'm taking pointers."
Shadow frowned. "Doesn't look anything like a normal bomb." He observed.
(F/n) looked away from his work and grabbed something else off the desk and handed it to Shadow. "It isn't, the bomb Tails defused is definitely futuristic." (F/n) explained, "I found a little tab inside, the design looks like Tails in my opinion."
Shadow looked closely at the tab. It had the outline of a fox on it, it looked almost exactly like Tails, but more feminine and with a few purple highlights in the hair and on the ears. The tab wasn't perfectly square either, it had a little corner pulled away making it imperfect. Shadow grabbed the corner and pulled out a small note. "Did you see this note?" Shadow asked (f/n).
(F/n) sat up from his bomb and looked at the note Shadow was holding. "No, I didn't, read it."
Shadow squinted his eyes to read the small writing on the note. "I don't know why I agreed to do this. But I made it less advanced to be sure someone could disarm it, if not, they should have enough time to get rid of it or run. Good luck to whoever finds this."
(F/n) paused in thought before taking the note from Shadow and reading it himself. "Interesting, wonder who wrote it." He put it down next to the futuristic bomb and continued working on his own.
Shadow put the tab on the table and watched (f/n) work on the bomb for several minutes.
"Well?" Shadow heard (b/n) say, Shadow glanced up at the (a/t) standing across from (f/n), "Ask him something! Don't just stand there!"
Shadow rolled his eyes at (b/n) and sighed, causing (f/n)'s ear to twitch. "How did you and (y/n) meet?"
(F/n) paused for a moment before leaning back in his chair. "(Y/n) might just kill me for telling you this."
