"Those fucking bastards! I will kill all of them!" I screamed, my blood boiling to the point that all I felt is fire radiating throughout my skin.
"Nadrielle is going to cross their grounds, most likely they are hiding her in Greece but then again they could just keep her in Russia since we wouldn't assume that she is right under our nose," Nikolai stressed, his exterior is slightly cracking. He craved to skin them alive just as I did, family is everything.
"Send for Sebastian to return to Russia immediately and Zion to join Nadrielle." I instructed, downing my whiskey before rubbing my temples.
The sound of Nikolai's footsteps nearing my desk filled the silence, his figure stopping at the edge. "They are already on it, she's our sister too. Nothing will happen to her as long as we are alive," he assured.
The reflects in my eyes dispersed, fury glistening within my sapphires. The heat radiating throughout my body, burning my flesh from the inside. "Nothing will happen to her or I will burn all of them alive, their families. They dare take her from me, they don't know what is coming now," a sinister laugh escaping my lips.
"Should we inform Mr. Iatova?" Nikolai questioned.
Varvara, the perfect picture of innocence. Molded from holy water, she is the angel that tames my demon. Everyone knew the impact of her in their lives, she encourages even the darkest of creatures to be open to emotions. Her aura is alluring, calming as they soothe the stress aching within the muscles.
Somehow, she became the sister to everyone. Despite her age, her maturity spoke volumes. Her smile is genuine with everyone, warm and welcoming. Syrupy waves that cascaded upon her back, reaching her waist. It always bounced with her, eager to embrace the next person she encountered.
What instantly made people gravitate to her is those pear coloured orbs that swirled with the coffee infused in them, it became slashes of colour that made her extremely enchanting. For me, they displayed the many years of turmoil. It became magnetic that I almost didn't want anyone to see her beauty, I couldn't stand seeing those incredible combination of colours be tainted in tears. My faults didn't define my actions and I certainly would kill anyone who dare be the reason that her eyes don't sparkle bright like it does every day.
That is why I couldn't bring myself to believe the words that traitor said. She is the least demonic from all of us. Surely, she knew how to handle herself but her personality is that of nature. Which made this difficult, to even envision the harm they are inflicting. I vowed, those motherfuckers will pay for taking the only good thing away from us. That's what many do not know, Varvara is loved by many, a little sister to all of us. That's what they will underestimate, the mafia doesn't feel anything unless it comes to family. Fucking better believe we will protect her and disperse destruction upon them.
The only one worse than my family is Iatova, he will not be pleased with this news. He is a man of not many words, he is the youngest ruler of his own gang. Which made him be seen as vulnerable but he is none of that, in fact he is even more menacing. Varvara was there for him, the wall he keeps up has only been broken down by her. She is his sister just as much as she is mine, blood defined us and loyalty even more.
"I will do it?" I reassured.
Nikolai nodded his head in agreement, before staring out of the window upon the glowing city. His reflection upon the tinted glass, twisted amongst those stone-cold obsidian orbs. The splashes of crimson brightly lighting up the shadows, the rage and worry that blanketed on them. It didn't matter his ability to block everything out for the time being but a friendship like ours made me realize that when he becomes the monster, is when he feels everything.
