Summary:
"I don't know, Izuku," Ochako mumbles, ducking her head. "Isn't— isn't Bakugou too weird? You get the feeling too, right?"
The man stares at her, mouth half-open in incredulity, before he laughs and shakes his head.
Kacchan? Weird? If anything, Izuku thought he was the coolest person out of everyone in his life aside from Yagi Toshinori, the dude that played All Might in his favorite comic's live remake.
"Kacchan isn't weird, Ochako," he dismisses her troubles with a wave of a hand. "He's just used to showing affection like that, y'know?"
OR:
Katsuki's a degenerate pervert for Izuku, and the boy's too oblivious to do anything about it.
Childhood friends.
It was a title that narrated a majority of Izuku and Katsuki's relationship.
Best friends didn't fit until they were in their last years of high school, enemies was a.. harsh term in Izuku's opinion, and simple friends didn't make the cut of describing them either.
Maybe rival, at one point during their high school careers, but even then it didn't qualify. It would be odd to call the two boneheads who were practically attached to the hip despite the one-sided beef 'rivals', especially if you pay close attention to the way they act around each other compared to everybody else.
They were still a weird pair, kinda like a matching set. If you get one, the other needs to come with or else it's not happening at all. Katsuki would bitch about it loudly and Izuku would get all pouty about not being beside his childhood friend.
It's why they went to the same college, got the same dorm rooms— and, well, shared the same bed (despite the fact prestigious UA offered separate bedrooms in one 'flat'). It's why Izuku would be seen hanging on the University's D1 athlete, why Katsuki would always be shadowing the cheer squad captain. They were unbearably inseparable, to the point that everyone has given up trying to catch the other by themself for once to hangout or something.
They're not even dating for fucks sake, and while they were the hottest shit on campus, no one wanted to deal with dating one of them and competing for affection with the so called childhood friend.
Not that they have a chance to, anyways, because Katsuki flat out rejects any advances with an ego crushing sneer and Izuku.. well, Shindou Yo had tried, but the moment he said anything about Katsuki being too close, Izuku coldly broke up with him and happily pranced back into Katsuki's waiting arms.
So, yeah.
"Izuku!"
"Kirishima! Hi!" Izuku chirps as the man approaches him, currently standing in front of a bunch of people with a clipboard in hand in the common room. "What's up?"
"What are you busy with?"
"Some exchange students from Europe," Izuku hums, and casts a friendly grin to a bunch of foreigners. Some flush, others continued to chatter, and a majority of them sported the same mystified look directed at the campus' pretty face, Midoriya Izuku. "Just a tour and stuff!"
Kirishima nods understandingly, before giving a friendly clap on Izuku's back. "Just wanted to say that Bakubro headed home after practice today. I think he's pretty pissed off cause the team was fucking up, so I thought I'd give you a warning if he's being extra dickish."
Izuku pouts before shaking his head. "It's okay, Kiri! Thanks for the heads up!" He inclines his head to the group of new kids, a polite way of telling the redhead he was a bit busy. Thankfully, the guy backs off with a supportive grin, slinging his gear over his shoulder.
