Masaru's maid — rather, Masaru's former maid shouts and storms out of his office without looking back. Masaru releases a heavy sigh as he scrubs his face with his hands.

How is he supposed to hire another maid at this rate? This has been the fourth one that quit within the first week of working for him. Is it even possible to get a maid that can tolerate his son's... personality? At this point, he's already considering putting Katsuki up for adoption, but he can't do that.

Not when he's the only piece of Mitsuki he has left. Katsuki is the spitting image of his mother, and Masaru just can't bring himself to discipline him, let alone abandon him.

He'll keep trying. There's got to be someone out there who can tame his wild beast of a child.

Chapter One: Mommy Issues

"I quit! Your son is an absolute nightmare and I won't- I can't stand it anymore! I-"

"W-Wait, please, reconsider! I-I swear I'll-"

"I'm sorry, but I refuse. Your son has no manners, no inside voice, and a filthier mouth than a damn sailor! He's broken things in your house that I would never be able to afford in my lifetime! And worst of all, he's a perverted demon! Even at his young age, he already touches himself shamelessly and he even touched me inappropriately despite my protests! You're lucky I'm not filing anything because your son is beyond salvation, Mr. Bakugou. Goodbye, and never contact me ever again!"

So when he hears his ringtone, he picks up his phone and greets the caller with an audibly exhausted,

"Hello?"

"Yes, hi! Um, I-I was looking to apply? You're looking for a maid, right?"

The nervous voice on the other end of the line squeaks out, and Masaru's eyes go wide at the words. Without hesitation, he responds eagerly,

"Yes! Yes, yes, I am!"

The caller laughs awkwardly and asks,

"So... When do I meet you?"
