Summary:
The apple in Izuku's hand fell, his mouth dropping open wide as he stared. The man wore nothing, leaving each part of his body visible to him. With skin a few shades lighter than his own and a glare that could kill even the fiercest of warriors, the man had a certain level of majesticness to him. Rippling abs and large, firm pectoral muscles twitched, and a blond trail of hair led down to...

Cold.
All Izuku could feel was the bitingly cold sting of emptiness as he stared out in front of him. The wind seemed to rage in his ears, burning them with its crisp chill and making him frigidly shiver. Bleakness was all around him, consuming his very body and corrupting his soul with its dreariness. His clothes blew with a singularly gust of deadly wind, reminding him of the precarious situation.
His mother...
He was here because of his mother, his precious mother. She gave him life, nurtured him as he grew and taught him right from wrong. She hid his secret from the world, only to waste away from an incurable illness. Inko Midoriya fought every inch of the way while sick, refusing to allow him to worry for her.
She was fierce, even in death.
A death that caused the village–their village, their home, to turn on him after learning what they so carefully hid. They threw food at him, rotten and molding as it stuck to his hair. As he stood there with his little knapsack of the few things he could grab, the words they spewed and hurled caused his tear ducts to swell with tears that cleansed his filthy face as they fell.
Holding himself with his cold, bare arms, Izuku Midoriya ran from the jeers and leers, heading straight into the forest that loomed around the village. The wind assaulted him as he ran, his bones rattling in his body. He wore no shoes, had no possessions, and left a trail of tears as he escaped.
He didn't know how long he ran, feet bloodied from stepping on rocks and tearing his flesh. The scraps that he wore as clothes tore on the trees, leaving rips all over the fabric. Sticks from the trees scraped his face and arms, leaving bloody welts in their wake. The slowly darkening sky was hidden from him by the dense forestry, but the trees began to enshroud him in blackness that reflected the late hour.
Izuku's body ached, feet sore from running and lungs almost collapsing with the heavy breathing he did. His calves seemed to tremble with each motion, crying out for him to stop the assault on his weary limbs. The chill in the air settled into his bones, making it harder and harder to move.
The forest was so big, and as nightfall finally washed over the area, its daunting terror was made evident to him. His only reason for being in such a place was his need to survive, knowing if he had stayed any longer, he would not have lived long.
With the enormous size of the woodland, Izuku soon found himself lost. As a child, his mother never allowed him to go near the trees that outlined the outskirts of the forest. In his need to escape, he blindly followed wherever his feet lead him, and now he was cornered in the middle of an unknown area.
Coming to a full stop, he ran his hands down his arms, trying to bring warmth to his frozen body. Turning in circles, he could feel the tears in his eyes as panic began to set in. All around him, the sound of howls and roars could be heard, echoing in his mind. True, unadulterated fear sank into the pit of his stomach, with dread and anxiety rattling inside his body.
